These people will steal anything you leave at their hotel! Management is not helpful at all they gave me the run around for three days Nothing in the room worked!! What am i paying all this money for! The worst part was that i took my own trash out of my room i seperated the dirty towels, cleaned the shower because they don’t do that ( the previous room users body hair was everywhere) and i left a thankyou note for housekeeping and they still stole my things Sad

Disgraceful Never coming back by choice

We were needing a room at the last moment for a guest that was singing at our church concert in Tickfaw, La I talked with Kay who was extremely helpful in setting up the room for our guest She was so pleasant to talk with

Our guest was so pleased with the room! He travels across the US ministering churches and said that this was one of the most nicest room he ever stayed in We will be booking with Best Western Plus in Walker again

Was looking for a place to stay overnight for 2 families Called so many hotels prior about room availablilty and they ask so many questions (which is so annoying, as we were only trying to sleep and rest for the night! ) With Best Western hotel I called and booked right away no Hassel whatsoever Great rooms, clean and beds and pillows are so comfy

the rooms don’t stink like other hotels we stayed at Plus they had a good variety of breakfast options We are very satisfied with our stay Keep up the great service ! I’ll make sure if I come back this way I stay here again in the future

Chris B

Very comfortable hotel and I was warmly greeted upon arrival I was a couple of hours early, but rooms were available and they quickly checked me in Amenities were appropriate and the bed comfortable

Breakfast was the only weakness with a limited selection that was the same all 4 days of my stay This, however, is the least of my concerns when picking a hotel Overall, a very pleasant stay during my business trip

If I could give negative stars I would!!! Room did not have an iron when front desk provided one it did not work My husband killed 4 bugs in this room I’m so over this hotel

When I told the staff I had bugs in my room she only offered bug spray like it was normal that the hotel had bugs Wish I could post a picture of the red bug Not sure what type of bugs but we threw everything away and bought new clothes and bags Didn’t want to take a chance on taking anything home

Come on, Hilton, you’re better than this Housekeeping and maintenance are slacking off1

Door latch was very loose (See photo) Had to call to get them to fix the door latch You would think housekeeping would’ve reported itIt was missing one of the three screws that holds it on the door They tightened the other two screws but did not replace the missing screw, probably because they didn’t have oneI requested a different room but there wasn’t one available2 I found leftover food in my room — a half eaten food bar on the desk that slides under the other desk Disgusting4 No bar soap at the bathroom sink5 No paper towels6 Tub, sink and base of toilet need to be re-grouted7 Room was not ready when I arrived at 4:00 PM Check-in is 3:00 PM8 The seat cushions on the chairs in the breakfast area are disgustingly stainedAll this and yet they were sold outI will not be back

I have stayed overnight twice at this place and I highly recommend it to anyone The people and service is wonderful I like the location even though it is next to a major street with heavy traffic I found it quiet and I slept very well in those nice comfortable beds

I needed ice for my little travel chest and they supply it It is right next to a convenient store I walked over and picked up a few things Breakfast was delicious and very well provided with many things Rooms are very clean and everything was great I will be staying there again in the future

Beth savedbygrace

Wonderful hotel! Price was great! Close to the interstate, with a few eating options, Starbucks and a couple gas places very close Great curb appeal Super clean hotel

Nice pool and hot tub Attendants were very nice Only thing I could even comment on that wasn’t great, was breakfast had more limited options then some Will stay again

G W (Kaiser 831)

The hotel has been recently renovated and I think they did a very good job with the exterior facelift and interior design changes The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate and well stocked at all times Rooms were not as quiet as could have been, but outside noises were absent during core sleep hours

Rooms had a mini-fridge and microwave just in case you need it Small outdoor pool and indoor gym equipment appeared to be well kept Prices for the rooms were reasonable for the area The area also had plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner As I was traveling with the family pet, it was nice to find a hotel that allows pets, for an additional $20 surcharge

What great management and staff We arrived during convention and needed early check-in but of course nothing available We traveled to attend a funeral and needed to change but of course our reserved room wasn’t available

Thank you to the desk person who kept searching until she found something available During these times it was much appreciated to see all of the no-touch food prep and clean, clean bathrooms and rooms It was just very comforting to see everything was so clean and sanitized And when complimenting management, it was good to know that she realized that without her great staff, it could have all gone differently Would definitely recommend and if traveling that way again, we will make that a stop

Rude employee Faith at the front desk was rude from the start, and got a attitude right away When I started asking questions about why my card was charged more than my receipt

Her attitude got even worse and she started yelling “saying that’s how hotels work and to contact my bank”The gentleman that had checked me in was nice and friendly and even accommodated my late arrival, he also gave me recommendations of restaurant to visit The room was nice and very clean The lobby area was kept nice and everything looked very new

Tammy Burton

Staff was very accommodating when I checked in I had no problem I extended my stay for a week The only problem I had was with Faith

She was very rude to me when I asked, her to help me with a 3rd party booking issue that I didn’t understand how to fix on my own I reported the issue to customer service because, she was rude; disrespectful; &argued with me in front of other customers Yes, I was the bigger person & walked away Mind u was very upset because, that also added to bad long hard day &I came into the Hotel to get that kind of unnecessary treatment; that’s unacceptable for me I want this matter resolved that just makes Tru Hilton look bad (This is an update on 7-12-22) I have called numerous of times to see if, anything was gonna be done about my complaint about that one staff I have not got one single call back to say, they would accommodate well or a few nights of free stay about me being unsatisfied with the staffs behavior towards me I got absolutely nothing So, just keep in mind when you’re night being treated right put in your complaints Eventually, some body will do something about it

The key card readers barely worked at our door and at the pool We saw folks having try try and swipe several times to even get a light on the readers The digital key just plain didn’t work

Also, I realize we’re 24 months deep with COVID, and masks are optional, but it’s just plain silly for those staff members that choose to wear them, had them below the nose and mouth, either wear it right or don’t wear oneThe rooms are alright, the lighting needs some help being super dim, and nothing substantial to light up the bathroom

Rhonda McDaniel

The hotel and rooms were nice We had a room with 3 adults Advised on first night if we could get set up for 3 people instead of just 2 for towels

Every morning and evening we had to go to the desk and ask for more towels Was also told to put our dirty towels in the hallway where they sat I’d asked for room service to come in and clean, take trash and used towels Was told that bc we had multiple days they only came in when asked Even after asking they still didn’t come in The pillows on the bed were the size of accent pillows for your couch and only 2 on the bed When we booked the breakfast was complimentary On the first night we found out that it was now $15 a person which was absolutely priced too high for the few items they had I would not book at this location again

Melissa Edwardsen

I can see this is a refurbished hotel I chose this over Home2 because of the pictures The lobby looked new but the elevators and rooms were average

In parts of the room there were rusts The AC in the bedroom didn’t work I chose a room and didn’t realize that the bathroom was situated outside of the bedroom across the living room Not nice in there at allplus carpet was old

DEBIT CARD STOLEN FROM HOTEL ROOM BY STAFF!I’ve been a hilton member for 6+ years, staying at their hotels for over 200 nights per year and this is the first time I’ve experienced something similarBe very careful when you stay at this hotel I had to live through hell whenever somebody got into my room, stole my debit card and used it at a gas station in Baton Rouge

Even though the manager confirmed somebody from his team entered the room but didn’t clean it, he said the cameras were not working and that I should go to the police He washed his hands even though he knew someone was in the room whenever they were not supposed to

Sherry Jackson

Unclean Breakfast area needs someone to actually USE the vacuum cleaner Shower curtain in room looked as though No one EVER thought to take it down and wash or use bleach

It’s hookless which means you can take it down and throw it in the washer in less than 5 minutes The cloth desk chair in the room and ones in the breakfast needed to be taken out back and burned with that many nasty stains! Get wood chairs Just shameful! Glad I travel with lysol and odoban Hilton should really consider releasing this property I expected sooooo much more because it is a Hilton property One star because the sheets were white But I put my own sheet over them because you just don’t know

Great hotel We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was prefect for us as a family of 5 for a week long stay Beds were comfortable, multiple pillows on each bed with different styles so you can choose and loved that we had room to move around and had 2 bathrooms! Don’t hesitate

if your traveling in the area with a family and want the extra space it is perfect!

tokunbo adodo

It’s OK good Not bad but not greatThe rooms are spacious enough and have adequate amenities

However, the place is getting dated A few things need attention:the faded hallway carpeting; the wooden floor in the room; the old carpet in the room; the archaic shower temperature regulator; and rooms that have the outdoor air conditioning units as your view

Allison Smith

To be honest, I was disappointed when I walked Into my room Everything is super dated Closet doors were broken on all 3 closets, dirty dishes under counter, there is no oven! I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite

Kitchen sink faucet was barely attached When u turned on water it came up and almost completely If you are looking for any kind of luxury this is NOT it Super basic, very dated, nothing to get excited about Only surface cleaned The carpet in the room was disgusting It was super sticky I accidentally stepped on it for only a few steps and my feet were sticking inside my shoes I would not have paid as much as I did for this room if I had seen it before hand The pool is basic also, like this is a 2 star hotel at best The water had white stuff floating on top and was not clear It was oy 3 feet and could not see the bottom Ungodly amount of chlorine also

The location is not a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott it is a Best Western I was checked into a room that had not yet been serviced I was then checked into another room that was not properly cleaned

My comforter, pillow, and bathroom wall had blood stains on it There was a used washcloth hanging in the bathroom and the toilet was nasty I cleaned the toilet myself with the Clorox wipes I brought along with me I mentioned it to the front desk manager and he had this attitude as if he really did not care He proceeded to tell me that he is not the one that did it I was not looking for a refund or anything I didn’t mention anything about a refund I just wanted to let him know so he can inform housekeeping of the poor job they are doing People spend all this money to stay at hotels and is greeted to those kind of things That is just horrible Not to mention I had to strip the bed myself, go get fresh linen and make the bed myself I had my 5 month old baby with me and he puts everything in his mouth It was just horrible I shouldn’t have to clean the toilet and make the bed myself I paid my money and everything should have been done from the get go

Shawann Carter

This hotel so sad I didn’t want to put a star but I had to just to put review Hotel and the management needs help The hotel just as nasty as the manager attitude

The room that was reserved for us had bloody comforter and manager was unbothered by it Pool was closed (which we were not advised) This place is a do not return for me I had a family vacation of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids) which all became sick at our stay at this hotel NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! The mew management should have invested in projects the way he keeping this place up because I know for a fact this not the way a hotel should be ranOh yea and keep your voice down 9 o’clock is quiet time

M. Fruge’

My husband and I was passing through and it was cheaper than the Drury and the others we usually goes to However, we got what we paid for The bed wasn’t the best & breakfast was cold and bagged like commodity food, I guess

Like I said, you get what you pay for going cheap! Ik we will stick to what we’re used to next time Customer service was nice & professional

We a family of 4 stayed here in July 2022 for four nights and we enjoyed it The beds are comfy The hot breakfast taste good! Con was they would run out of some foods and one day the breakfast staff called in sick so the front desk lady had to do double duty and run the breakfast

She did great under the condition Our room, breakfast area, and everywhere else was clean The black out shade in our room would come off the track ( needs to be replaced ) and the light fixture in our room near the door did not work We would stay here again

Debra May

Upon arrival at the front desk, I met a beautiful soul by the name of Holly She was just as sweet as can be My first words to her were, “you look exhausted!” She smiled & stated that she was

She seemed to be working short handed & with a major dance convention & baseball tournament going on in the area, she held this place down & rocked her customer service skills Major kudos to her & a huge thanks for being you When I entered the room, it was exceptionally clean & smelled fresh I always clean with my Clorox wipes then spray Lysol & the wipes were clean afterwards except for the toilet handle There was a little food stain on the comforter which meant that it hadn’t been changed but it was nothing major to complain about as I travel with my own linen The only issue that I had was the drain in the bathtub was stuck & the water wasn’t draining properly My stay was good & I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area

Jochebed Moreno

What I look for when I travel with my children, cleanliness, security, tranquility, this hotel has itBeds are comfortable, room clean and spacious and a good breakfast! It is very well located with a wide variety of shopsOf course we come back!

Finally made it to The Stockade and LOVED everything about our stay Ms Janice’s home is so welcoming and almost feels like you’re visiting with a family member

Since it was my birthday we opted for the romance package—totally worth it! Flowers were beautiful, charcuterie perfect for afternoon snacking, and breakfast in bed was so flavorful!!! Making excuses to visit Baton Rouge so that we can stay again

Jackie Broussard

From being greeted with a welcome sign on our door to a wonderful breakfast we were so relaxed and enjoyed our two night stay! Janice was super sweet even checking with a friend for recommendations to a restaurant Asked housekeeper where ice was and before I knew it knock was at my door and she was handing me ice! Can’t wait to go back

would recommended the Stockade B&B to any couple wanting a relaxing place with great hosts! The Broussards

Mae Mayeux

Recently, I stayed at The Stockade Bed and Breakfast for 4 nights during the week while I attended a seminar in Baton Rouge I cannot write a review that would justify how much I enjoyed my stay, but I will try I had the pleasure of staying in the Garden Room, which was beautifully decorated and so comfortable that I felt like I was coming home each night

The shower – how awesome is that shower! I have stayed at The Stockade before in other rooms, all of which were just as comfortable I enjoyed the balcony in the evenings which overlooks the treed and private back yard My room not only was comfortable, but quiet as well I felt like I was the only one there, but I’m quite sure that the B&B was full some of those nights Sammy’s Grill across the street was so convenient when I was too tired to go out to dinner somewhere else in Baton Rouge The innkeeper was pleasant and helpful, providing me instructions on how to get downtown each morning in the least amount of traffic I did not get to enjoy the breakfasts because my seminar started too early, but I could smell it cooking when I left each morning and I know from past visits that it is always delicious and a delight of the guests I cannot recommend The Stockade enough It’s so much more comfortable than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at There’s no doubt that I will stay there again next time I visit Baton Rouge

Disappointed Good location Room was clean, but sparse

Bathroom was also clean, but also very limited in supplies No place to comfortably sit after long day on the road Just a desk chair As seniors (75+), we need a few creatures comforts this room did not offer Lighting was inadequate, and room seemed dark Had to move nightstand and unplug the lamp ( which made the room even darker!) b/c we both use sleep machines and extra outlets only on one side of the bed I will be checking pictures and amenities more carefully, but likely will not choose this hotel again Hilton can do better

Jennifer Ete

I like staying here We’ve stayed several times, because the room is always clean, the staff is always attentive and friendly, the cost is perfect for the property, and the beds are comfortable The location is perfect if you need to be near the interstate

The on/off ramp might be 1/2 mile from the hotel, yet, it is very quiet in the rooms No outside noise at all
