We stay here for work and while the building is a little dated, the rooms are cozy and clean Just a few minutes from the airport with a shuttle that runs all the time They have a decent breakfast, mostly continental type

Sometimes they have hot sausage The staff is super friendly and accommodating The restaurant in the parking lot is great!

Doug Timpe

We stayed for several days Great layover hotel before or after your flight Very clean, comfortable and quiet despite having the airport close and a fire station even closer

The kiosk at the front desk makes life easy for printing your bag tags and boarding pass before you leave The staff is fantastic without exceptionShuttles run to the airport every 20 minutes so you can even turn your rental car in early if you’re departing on a flight!

Chris Avak

Coast Gateway Hotel was exactly what we were looking for before travelling: it was economical, clean, the staff was friendly, and the room was big enough for our 13 pieces of luggage and us Shout out to Ericka for being super helpful when we let her know we’d be arriving later in the night, and a gentleman behind the counter who happened to have a quark screw handy so we could open a bottle of wine I recommend Coast Gateway Hotel for all arriving and departing travelers who need a place to stay

The blackout curtains do the job and plane noise was surprisingly very low due to the quality windows and insulation Cheers!

I found this Fairfield Inn to be quite an oasis that allowed me to have a “Rest” day before departing for a cruise Convenient with a very hearty breakfast Outstanding staff — one Front Desk person, Madisen, was extra nice and gave me a ride to the local Safeway so I could pick up an essential item that I needed

Talk about going above and beyond Could not have been nicer Having the shuttle was a real blessing as well and the driver knew the area like an expert Also, I was able to get the cruise boarding pass and luggage tag printed Over all a 4 star stay

Denica C IG TravelingHangry (TravelingHangry)

The staff are very kind and exceptional I do feel there should be better communication about late checkouts between the desk and housekeeping so they they are not knocking at your room early in the day and all afternoon The breakfast wasn’t anything worth coming down for

The room and clean and comfortable and parking was sufficient

Felix Li

Clean rooms and kind staff! We were able to get quickly checked in and it was a good place to cool down after an unusually hot day We stayed for two nights for the last leg of our week long trip so we could go to the airport and return home easily It is very close and a short walk to the Angle Lake station so we were able to get into the city for the last day of our trip

Titanium member that stayed there 2 weeks I travel for work a lot and stay at Marriott’s a lot as well The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable

I requested my room being cleaned twice and they never came in I had to go to front desk both times I also requested extra pillows and never received any Also, the bar area was horrendous The credit card machines were off and on The wanted us to charge to room and I never do that so had to leave premises Also, several nights we were there they were not even open

Josie Johnson

After arriving late with two teenagers in tow, I was told they’d moved us from a room with 2 queens to one with a king I was frustrated since that obviously wouldn’t work But the staff handled the situation beautifully and made it right

We had a very comfortable stay and I appreciate the efforts that were made to accommodate us Not a lot of hotels would have done the same Recommend!

Da Ra

Room has everything but safe Sofabed seems adequate for 1 adult or 2 children Otherwise, comfort level is high

Airport shuttle is Courtyard’s shuttle & not an independent shuttle Airport is 10 minutes away Small gym with some aerobic machines & dumbbells for free weights Never made to indoor pool & whirlpool since only couple nights Mall 10 minutes walking away

Rooms are very small, bed are not comfortable at all Had stayed at different Hampton Inn properties and this the one we liked the least Needs some upgrades

Will book at the Hampton Inn & Suites which is about 3 minutes away from each other Book this property due to their shuttle service to the airportGood breakfast choices,Airport is only 7 minutes away from this property Shuttle driver was very nice and helpful with our luggage But will not stay again in this property since Hampton Inn & Suites is much better with bigger rooms

Unfortunately, this had to be the worst hotel stay for us I called early on our arrival day to let them know that we would be getting in after 10pm I was told to call them when we arrived to have the shuttle pick us up

When we arrived to Seattle and I called the hotel, I was told there shuttle ended at 11pm Once we arrived and went into our room the toilet was full of toilet paper When I flushed the toilet, the water came up The toilet was clogged Went down to the front desk We were given a plunger to take care of the problem ourselves, as there was only 1 person working that night at the front desk My husband had to unclog the toilet I do not blame the employee She was alone and doing the best that she could It would have been impossible for her to help us and take care of the guest that were checking in When we took a shower, the water from the shower went into our room I spoke to the owner Sandy early the next day She was so nonchalant, as if we were bothering her I guess, to her, it’s ok for a paying guest to unclog a toilet and deal with water running from the shower into the room I was told I would get a full credit and was only given $94 from the $229 that I paid I also requested an invoice with the refund She said she would email it to me Never received it Horrible customer service

Really ultra friendly staff makes this hotel a great pre or post flight experience The rooms themselves are a little dated and I did find it slightly hard to sleep with plane noise (but hey, it’s an airport hotel, it’s common)The hotel is located across from Angle Park, which is a beautiful spot on the water

There is a train station not far There aren’t any restaurants within walking distance, which is a bit of a bummer But the hotel offers a shuttle to a local mall on weekends Their airport shuttle is very helpful and again very nice staffLately I’m finding Hampton bedding just too heavy for sleeping but that’s just a personal thing Bathroom was big enough and room was decently comfortable It was aged, but not dirty Good choice before or after a flight

The employees are friendly & helpful I have zero complaints re: the people that work hereHowever, the room was less than clean

The floors are all laminate & tile in the bathroom The grout was dirty as was the main bedroom area with visible debrisNo dresser in the bedroom area so no place to unpack or get organized It was very sparse, which I understand in the days of Covid- but some open shelves perhaps?Too expensive for what this place provides

hiwot mamo

The front desk Service was not great The person that checked me gave me no details of the hotel services They didn’t clean my room for a three day stay

No new towels When I checked out the shuttle service guy was rude Called a head of time for a shuttle service and he could see me standing waiting to get on the shuttle but he didn’t acknowledge us Eventually came to ask us if we’re waiting on the shuttle The room and location was nice

Kristi

My room was nice, the bed was super comfy, it was very clean, and shower pressure was okay I was sad to have a parking lot view, but someone has to have it The balcony was nice and the staff around the building were very attentive

Beautiful grounds to explore My only wish was that breakfast room service would have been available but the hand pie I ate for breakfast was fantastic The dining room was really lovely as well Overall, it was a nice stay

Connie Grant

Wow! Beautiful location, grounds, common areas We loved our room, the bed, the towels, the robes, the soap and bath salts The restaurant was delicious

The shuttle to the airport was a great perk We enjoyed the hot tub The complimentary snacks were delightful This is a 5 star establishment I’ve already told my travel agent for his future cruise clients! The next time we are in Seattle, this will be our first choice!

CM Scott

It was quiet and relaxing for the most part You could hear dogs barking sometimes, but it wasn’t too noisy The bed was amazing to sleep in, and the tub was deep enough to soak in

If you showered when everyone else did, you didn’t have hot water for long, and there is definitely temperature control on the water The grounds are beautiful and it’s close to the airport

So, maybe it’s me, and how I read the description of the hotel, but I don’t think so The description said hot breakfast What it didn’t say was the only thing hot about it was the pancakes that only sometimes worked

The reason I choose this location at this price was because of location, shuttle and hot breakfast Two out of three you say? Well the hotel was old and needed something moreI just feel there are better options for less money

Patricia Adkins

This might be one of the best – best westerns I have ever been to, and certainly the best sea-tac airport hotel I have enjoyed Shuttle was efficient, Check in was friendly and personable, the room was clean and comfortable It’s all a bit dated, but I don’t care as everything was exactly what I needed after a long flight

The breakfast was continental but exceeded my expectations with the variety I will definitely be back as I was very impressed overall

Sara M

After a really bad travel experience (I lost my purse), they took really good care of me The manager (Glen) let me check in with no ID or credit card (the room was already paid with airline miles), and when the front desk attendant (Rios) saw me frustrated that the vending machine only took plastic, he bought me a coke and wouldn’t let me pay him back Everyone was extremely nice and went way over and above to help out

10/10 recommend

We have stayed here once before The hotel in some areas is outdated and in need of some attention Overall it is a nice hotel with good accommodations

Steve who was at the counter during my check in immediately acknowledged I was there and apologized for a small wait as he was on the phone with another customer We was very nice and attentive, offering cookies and water to my family and myself while we wait Even with a wait it was a quick check in and he did his job with a smile Unfortunately outside of the hotel’s control there was some gentlemen casing the parking lot and inside the hotel looking for cars to steal/break into and other things to steal It was very unsettling to know that the hotel didn’t have security or a was to watch and make sure our things were safe, as we have to pay for over night parking We ended up taking our car to the airport for the night and using the shuttle to get around during out stay I am not sure we will be staying here again, it is a wonderful hotel with nice staff, but for the safety and well being of my family and myself we may stay somewhere else on our next trip to Seattle

Jon Whelan

There were literally people just sleeping all over inside like it’s a homeless shelter Walking in the main entrance there are peoples clothes laying over the hand rails The rooms are okay definitely dated and no AC, so if you like your room on the cooler side don’t come in the summer

The gym is in the pool area If you like to workout with a heavy chlorine smell you’re in luck The bar area is pretty nice, decent selection of drinks

James Oravec

Location is nice as close to mall, if you want to walk over and watch a movie They’ll also have a nice field up play in If you come in summer months be cautious of the next to non working AC

Set it to a low temperature and even after hours it was still hot Had to open window at night to cool down the room but wake up hot and sweaty The ironing board seems a bit dated too as well as various other things throughout the stay Overall I really don’t think I’ll be bringing my family here or to other double trees in the future

Great hotel! Love the location, especially with its proximity to SeaTac Airport, yet its tucked a block off of International Way to not be right on such a busy street Very nice, spacious and clean room with a very comfy bed Large breakfast area on main floor with good cold and hot breakfast selections like cereal, oatmeal, make your own waffles ( blueberry or regular batter), fresh fruit (bananas and apples), yogurt, scrambled eggs, pork sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, assorted breads, muffins, bagels, juices, milk, coffee, tea, etc

Very friendly staff Plenty of parking; even has a lower level gated garage area (we didn’t use it though) Loved being able to make the reservation through the Hilton app on my phone Also loved being able to check in, get a digital key to access outer hotel doors and our room, and checking out all with my phone and the Hilton app! Would definitely stay here again!

Josh Martin

The rooms are large and clean, with the only slight negative being the giant wooden desk/islands do look a bit ridiculous The receptionist who checked me in found a room for me before check in is normally available, asked for preference of location (high floor, low floor, empty hall, ect), have easiest transportation options, and was very enthusiastic in general about conveying the positives of the specific hotel and nearby restaurants With absolutely zero probing or prompting on my part, without being overbearing or off putting after 26 hours of straight travel, just very to the point and helpful

Overall positive, location and staff make it preferable over hotels lacking the same amenities, but offering slightly more updated decor

Da Das

Needed to be close to the SEA-TAC airport and with reasonable rates and excellent service Other close by hotels wanted to charge significantly more but Hampton had reasonably prices for their excellent offerings as a budget hotel The guest service IS OUTSTANDING!!! NICOLE is amazing with 5-Star Forbes rating as a Manger and Sarah and the rest if the team do an amazing job

I watched one front desk agent as he handled a guest complaint in very compassionate and professional manner Well Done!!!

Very Clean Great bar and restaurant Only complaint is that the west side of hotel has much more road noise than the east side

The wall air conditioning unit was noisy but no more than most units just too bad it was not a different quieter system Have stayed here twiceUpdate Came back again as we tried to stay at the Ramada across the street the following week and what a nightmare luckily we were able to get into this hotel and again it was fantastic especially since we got the east side of the buildingMy only concern is that during this third stay I am starting to see stains on the carpets Yes I am a bit of a neat freak but I am willing to pay for clean

Jack Otto

We stay here for work all the time The hotel itself is really nice! Super clean and the rooms are spacious The hotel has a great pool and a workout room as well as a bar/restaurant and seating area in the lobby

Great hot breakfast options including someone that makes omelettes as well as other hot breakfast items The staff is super nice and will bring you a cup of coffee if they don’t have any made Easy access to the highway and probably 10 minutes from the SeaTac airport It’s right next to South Center which has a lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities Highly recommend!

I stayed this past weekend in a standard two queen room and from start to finish the experience was great!! The bathrooms were modern, white and clean, and LARGE bottles of Dove bathroom products to use!! The kitchen area was nice with great counter space and lots of areas in the room it self to do work and place items The hotel breakfast is modest but great options and the shuttle system is fast and easy to and from the hotel The hotel is also only a five minute walk from the train!! The staff was also very friendly and answered all my questions

If are looking for a good spot that is on the outskirts with a great connection to the public transport this is your place!

My family and I enjoyed our 5 night stay We booked two rooms next to each other for the 6 of us Ample parking, rooms are modern & huge, the beds are extremely comfy and the complimentary breakfast every morning helped us save some money

I took away 1star because their elevators are slow and when I requested housekeeping to our room they told me no because housekeeping is only available during breakfast hours It was 12noon and the housekeeper had just started on our floor

Wendy Greene

We stayed in this hotel the night before leaving on our cruise It took 1 hour and four phone calls before we could get picked up by their free airport shuttle When we complain to front desk staff they offered to give us points, whatever that means

This building seems to be very old and perhaps added on to There are definite breaks in the hallways and the floors Creek as you walk on them The rooms or standard and reasonably clean However the newest way for hotels to charge more and spend less is by saying that unless requested they only change the sheets and towels every 5 days The free breakfast was adequate but definitely nothing special This establishment is close to the airport but that’s about all that special about it

One even recommended a great bbq restaurant to eat at! The rooms were super clean and comfortable Our remote to TV wasn’t working My husband went to front desk and she gave him a different one She was really nice Also while there a customer was being ugly to the front desk girl The girl handled the matter in such a calm professional way Way to go girl I was getting angry for her We definitely will recommend this hotel

In the last moment’s notice, my friends and I were able to book 2 rooms because because Red Lion, in Kent Washington refused to to provide towels so that my friend could take a shower and she is in a wheelchair Therefore, the staff at Wyndham came through came through very quickly to make sure that we were accommodated Everyone was extremely nice and I am so glad I found this place

Great Hotel! From the area you wouldn’t expect it but when you walk into the lobby it just gives the sense of “wow, this is nice!” The staff is friendly and helpful and even though the price per night is actually quite fair and budget friendly the rooms are spacious and open Depending on the side of the hotel you’re in you could have a great view but all the rooms have lots of natural light I was only staying here because our flight was cancelled and that’s where the airline put us up in but I would stay here again on my own

Super location; close to the airport for a 6 am departure next day Check in was quick and the desk agent was very friendly Our feather free room was clean, tidy and ample in size

The restaurant was great; food super good and wait staff very cordial and accommodating Convenient shuttle service offered to the airport for our 3:30 am ride The driver was timely, friendly and efficient She was respectful of those who made it to the lobby in time for the 3:30 am departure She even made a courtesy call to the rooms of other expected guests; they did not show While the area is noisy; “duh”(—airport nearby)- with additional roadside activity we were pleased with our stay here; served our needs for next day airport departure

From start to finish myself and my attendees were taken care of Everything was clean and orderly and the energy at this venue was phenomenal It’s in a great location- not too far from the Airport and it’s also near a Dollar Tree, Gas Station and Walgreens which is helpful for last minute shopping I would definitely recommend doing an event here or staying here the next time you’re in town They’ll be sure to make you feel like home!
