Giving two stars because the staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was surprisingly decent But that’s about it I booked the Westin because of its general higher-end status, but I was pretty disappointed

The lobby is set up really nicely and would lead you to believe that you’re about to have a great stay at a 4-star hotel But as soon as you leave the lobby, the rest of the hotel is mediocre at best First of all, I upgraded my room to a Junior Suite weeks before my stay, and when I checked in, I was told I would be staying in the previous room I booked because they have no junior suites available If you weren’t going to have junior suites available on the nights of my stay, why would I be able to upgrade to that room? Or did you give my junior suite away to someone else? We paid extra for a lake-front room, but the lake was brown and disgusting The rooms are no better than 2 or 3-star quality- the finishings are tacky and the bathroom/shower area was just straight up icky The shower was not user friendly at all At a certain point we called maintenance about it He told us many people call about the shower head and faucet and complains about them Additionally, make sure you get a room close to the ground floor or you’ll be waiting at least 5 minutes for the elevator- but you’ll get your steps in on the stairs! Overall, this is in no way a 4-star hotel and they should probably lose a star But your staff was excellent!

After a not so great experience at a another Atlanta area Marriott property, happy to say that this is a very nice hotel Had breakfast and dinner at Savor, and both were great Rooms are clean and (despite being in a hotel at the intersection of two interstates) quiet

Only minor complaint is that the mattresses are a bit soft Also, the pool area is currently closed / under construction

We checked in late and Ruben was so nice and very helpful! The room was very clean, which was most important to me Our room was on the bottom floor beside the exit and people were coming in and out at all hours of the night and the door slammed every time The pumps for the shampoo and conditioner in the shower didn’t work

Breakfast was pretty good!Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the night if you are passing through

Erica

I was in town under not so great circumstances and had a few issues with rooms after checking in after 3am Keke at the front desk was very nice and patient and got me in a decent room for the night She even left a note for the manager, which made it easy to explain the next morning

Michelle took accountability for the hotel and took good care of us for the duration of our stay Nope, no credits needed All it took was a friendly face who understood the situation, apologized, and fixed it right away The ENTIRE staff was friendly and seems to enjoy their job! It gave me a little comfort when I needed it the most!

Sonal

The rooms were spacious, but no house cleaning done for the 4 days that we were there The breakfast was good But the lady cleaning and restocking the items was very upset about the number of people that were having breakfast

Multiple teams had booked that hotel for a 4 day tournament There was a time, she even lashed out on the kids Something that is not hospitality If the staff doesn’t like soo many people booked and having breakfast, then they should not entertain booking it Would never plan on going back there

Sian Simmons

As someone who works for a Hilton property, I generally know what to expect The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable I deducted a star for the cold shower we had to take because the water would not get warm

(I had seem other reviews stating this was an issue but had hoped it had been taken care of) Another star was deducted for breakfast quality and the fact that the lobby area was still dirty from breakfast an hour and a half after breakfast ended

Perfect example and model of what PEFECT FIVE STAR Hospitality should look like!!! Starting with the parking lot and outside property CLEAN and free of debris!!!! NEXT the front desk representatives nice, knowledgeable, worked fast paced, very helpful THEN the room was spotless Everything in place, bed cozy , sheets white as snow and even smelled clean!!!! The shower head made my shower pleasant and calming! Towels clean , no hair in sink, tub or drainage Door Dash was allowed to drop off my meal at the door and not in the lobby WONDERFUL!!!! Breakfast was a FULL AND HOT BAR!! Coffee made fresh and free for guess during your stay!!! Nice hotel perfect for business travelers If you’ve been to one courtyard, you’ve been to all of themI checked in after 11:00 pm, and the air-conditioner in my room was making some weird noises

They put me in a new room as soon as I brought the issue to their attentionThe staff is friendly and the rates were reasonable

Johnny Gomez

Very nice Courtyard by Marriott property It’s a renovated property, but it’s much better than expected The lobby and restaurant area are super nice and the staff is fantastic

Only issue is that breakfast isn’t included in the rate Other courtyard hotels provide breakfast, but for some reason this one didn’t We were very disappointed, especially when we found out the prices for breakfast We weren’t the only ones that left the hotel in order to have an affordable breakfast a block away at Einstein Bagels

Vin Diesel

This Courtyard was top-notch and very impressed with the layout of the room I felt very secure and I liked how you could walk out of your room straight into the Courtyard I was greeted with smiles by the front desk and I requested more towels through the Marriott Bonvoy App but never received them my digital key was ready but they never sent it through to the app

That is the only gripe I have is don’t offer services through your app for your members if you are not going to monitor the app Other than that great place to stay

Seriously? We can’t help ourselves at the breakfast counter? Keeping people from helping themselves to breakfast does NOTHING to stop COVID Just another way I feel these types of hotels are being cheap I took a star off for this

However, everything else was as expected I loved the double opening windows in my room Everything was fairly clean and in good condition Shower drained a little slow, but other than that, no issues

Square Bidness Presents Ed Memphis

Horrible Experience with the Front Desk Lady on 6/27/22 around 10:30pm After leaving my sick wife at the hospital I stopped by this place to spend time with family who came here to assist me in urgent times

When I got to the door, no one was at the desk & I dropped all of my bags to speak into the door glass to get help When no one heard my calls I knocked on the door hard enough to make sure someone heard me but certainly not hard enough to be destructive When the lady finally heard me, she YELLED at me “You need to stop banging on the door!” She asked where my key was & I informed her I was visiting someone She never asked who I was visiting & simply left me outside holding my bags until my family came down stairs That was extremely humiliating & belittling to leave someone outside & refuse to even let them come to the desk to figure out my purpose for being there I was then made aware that this same lady is known for having a disrespectful tone & bad customer service & she is still there The tone in which she treated me was clearly racially related I will NEVER spend a dime at this classless establishment

My daughter and I came into town for a Deftones concert We had been on the road for about 7 hours So we were pretty tired and just wore out

Very nice hotel Friendly staff Comfortable beds

Could use better pillows and high pet fee but free parking and lots of breakfast choices We stayed when we were in town for a braves game Easy to access highway even with construction I was concerned walking into the room that it wouldn’t be cold but the AC cranked out cold air and it was great Very dog friendly

Christy Szabo

Beautiful, CLEAN hotel Easiest check in process and and most accommodating front desk Young family of 4 with 2 small children

Stayed night of Braves game then ventured to the aquarium the next day Perfect location Shower had no blemishes and carpet had no debris Breakfast was filling and had something for the entire family Will definitely have a return visit

Anna Wenders

The staff were very nice, and our room was good, if a little noisy (we were on 6th floor on the street side of the building) Everything was clean and comfortable Great water pressure and very hot water

The noise from the hallway and room next door was a little loud, but I’m a light sleeper and things settled down by 12 am Loved the gym which I used every day, and the indoor pool which I would have used if I’d know how nice it was and had packed a bathing suit The complimentary breakfast was fairly good though I only ate oatmeal and yogurt Coffee was very good Overall, very good value

Couple of things I didn’t like was pool close to early and towels and washcloths you had to go to the office and take your dirty towels and washcloths to get clean ones Wide crack at the front door where bugs can come in so I place a towel at the bottom of the doorThe suite was very spacious it sleep about 10 ppl and beds were comfortable

Front desk check in was quick 2 bedroom suite with a loft suite This hotel is in a great location Restaurants gas station liquor stores convenience stores close to the highway

Georgia Guardian

I stay in this place 2-3 times a month When I come into town My stay on 4/30/22 was not good

The AC did not work in the room and nobody was at the front desk to complain to I called back Monday morning 5/2/22 to voice my concerns and the lady who answered had an attitude and actually hung up the phone without addressing my concernIt also take almost 7 days to get your deposit back This is absolutely ridiculous Only once since I stayed there was my deposit returned in reasonable amount of timeRoom 621 air does not work! This is my first time experiencing any issues besides the deposit return at this location

Brit Mosley

Check in/ out: the check in and out process was very fast The website states that breakfast was included but it wasn’t, I can assume due to COVIDRoom: We stayed on the second floor and our room included a loft bedroom, two bathrooms and two full sized beds in a separate room

The accommodations looked exactly like the picturesMy only con: there are too many permanent residents who are taking over the property It no longer looks as kept as a hotel should

Nice Hotel overall! Hot Breakfast with plenty of selection Room was cleanish however there was room for improvement, Several Spots that could have used more dusting but other than that not too bad Would have been nice to have a microwave in my room instead of having to walk all the way down to the lobby just to use the microwave

Other than that though everything was great, Pool was nice and warm and staff were very friendly and were very helpful and accommodating to my needs Would stay again!

Luciana Smalls

The staff is friendly and helpful The TV worked for two nights and then stopped working A staff from the front desk attempted to correct the issue earlier in the day; however, when I called the front desk later in the evening, the only option offered was to change the room which was after 8 PM at night

I did not want to pack up and move to the other room I understand there is no maintenance person on site I appreciate the free breakfast; however, the food was cold both morning The hotel is located in a beautiful area and nearby there are shopping stores and restaurants It is located close to the city My family enjoyed the pool The bed was comfortable On my way to check out, there was no one there I dropped the card off and left I was disappointed overall with my experience

Julianne X

It’s not the staffs fault that this hotel needs some updating! The carpet had a lot of stains, the furniture chipping, doors also very worn along the bottom One other issue was the absence of front desk staff at times and no one answering the phone promptly, until I called three times and just let it ring until someone answered! That was on Fri May 6 in the early afternoon This was not the weekend if one wanted to relax quietly

There was reportedly a large birthday party Plenty of noise, talking, cussing, children running up and down the hall very late in the night And all the talking and carrying on from the floor beneath me was bothersome My next door neighbor must have been partially deaf because the sounds from his TV we’re very loud, as if the walls are paper thin I choose this location thinking it was going to be quiet and relaxing NOT!! Anyhow, despite my complaints, I’m giving the hotel 4 and 5 stars On any other weekend, it might have been a perfect stay!!

We stayed here one night with our son Everything seemed clean The pool was warm and there was a breakfast buffet

If the breakfast was edible I would have given it 5 stars but even though they had waffles, eggs (scrambled, omelette and boiled), bacon, yogurt, fruit and milk some of the items had a weird taste We went to Einstein Bagel’s close by If you don’t have a budget for breakfast you won’t starve! Also, the coffee was kind of bad If they were able to improve the breakfast to something the staff would even want to eat everyday it would be amazing! I guess I’m focusing on the breakfast because that was the only issue there was But I would stay here again regardless Overall, I found people in Atlanta to be very friendly and not overly concerned about CDC recommendations pretty much everywhere we went

Krishna Juluri

The location was excellent The customer service was excellent, the staff were always there to answer any questions or fulfill any requests Within the means this hotel is great but when I compare this to other Fairfield locations the rooms here need a lot of attention(finishings, paint, cracked tiles etc

) A very genuine effort was made by the staff to provide a great breakfast but for someone who stays more than a day the hot options need to be real

Janice G

Nice location, safe, clean, quiet, good night’s rest, conveniet to restaurants and attractions, and friendly staff It is a bit older location so not quite as up to date as newer locations Our coffee pot in the room did not work and since we had to leave at 5 a

m we had to get coffee elsewhere and also left before the breakfast offered with our room was available (maybe at 6:30?)

Great breakfast, very clean common areas and all of the staff especially Maria and Kavita were extremely helpful, polite, courteous, and helped make my stay very pleasurable! They even gave me a Xmas card! I would absolutely stay here again BTW Saturday and Sunday are bacon day 🙂

This was the host hotel for our family reunion and the service was top notch from check-in to our departure The hotel was clean and had all the amenities we needed but the STAFF is the reason our stay was so enjoyable! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful, but Orrie was my favorite! He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our meetings with a smile I would DEFINITELY stay there again if I’m in the area

Loved our room Used bookingcom and it worked out

I loved the cleanliness of it I didn’t see any mold I even forgot my shower shoes, but it really was clean enough for me to feel comfortable and place my bare feet on the shower floor Ranked a 4/5 because perfection is what we all are still aiming for 😇 also the space of the room was great and we did not have a handicap room due to being fullI will say that the front desk in the morning seemed to be ran by one person So a line formed but it didn’t take the person long before coming back and kindly assisting with everyone’s situation

Overall, we had a good stay I really appreciated having a separate sitting room from the bedroom We were able to put our son there in his pack and play while we slept in the bedroom

It made for a restful night for allHowever, it should be known that you have to pay $12 for parking and breakfast isn’t free When we booked this room both of those facts weren’t advertised Also, both when we were unloading our car and reloading it when leaving, there were NO luggage carts available This proved to be very difficult with all of our luggage and with trying to keep track of our son

Daniel Young

The hotel seemed a little dated in certain areas, but it was very clean I could see they were working on updating some of the rooms during my stay and that will only enhance the stay for future guests The staff was very friendly and informative

Most importantly, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable I really do like having a separate living area from the bedroom It just feels more cozy

Hank Ballew

When my usual hotel gave my reserved room to another party I hopped over to this Hyatt and received a warm welcome from Jennifer at the front desk She took time to show me rooms that might fit my needs and put positive energy into making sure my needs were met Any employer can force staff to smile at you, but having staff that engage helpfully is a real blessing

We spent four days here and the staff were really helpful The room did not match up with the picture when we reserved online, but we had what we needed to make it work I was excited to see the full kitchen, but the amount of dished stocked were not quite adequate

We found the room lacking bowls, plates, towels and bedding for the pull-out bed, but the staff did a pretty good job of working out our issues It was a bit annoying to keep walking to the office when we realized that we needed yet again something else The dispensers in the shower were empty and the place could use a deep clean, but it served its purpose The beds were comfy and the linens were clean! I wouldn’t advise shopping at the overpriced 24-hour store on-site, but it is very convenient for those who may be in need Last but not least, the pool’s still closed That struck a nerve in everyone smh

RUN FAR AWAY This place is disgusting Neal at the front desk was so very nice

as soon as we pulled in I had a bad feeling It’s set up like apartments and seems like people live there so this is not a hotel or at least not an ideal one our neighbor had a chair from the room sitting outside like it was a smoking chair/patio which was a bad sign There was nothing specifically bad just poor quality materials, cheaply built, plywood paneling, cheap sheets, plastic couch and chairs, the carpet is pretty bad, there was a very bad smell I was afraid to touch anything and certainly wouldn’t be comfortable taking my shoes off The door was tricky and was not secure I got a refund and left i would never recommend this place to anyone

Never heard of Sonesta before staying here Not a good experienceThere is no help, and no elevators, making it very difficult if staying on an upper floor

No cleaning due to Covid restrictions, but the room should be CLEAN before occupancy and it was not Filthy dirty, especially carpet, which dirtied feet Lightbulbs were burnt out, insufficient lighting Staff ignores requests TOILET RUNS LOUDLY A WHOLE WEEK! Unacceptable Called and called, asking for help IgnoredGood things: full kitchen -everything needed is there Microwave and stove, dirty, but usable Loads of closet space This was clean, as were bathrooms Breakfast is the same every day in the lobby, but it’s not terribleThe very worst thing is that they did NOT honor their quoted rate “including tax” “We’re not required to tell you about the extra fees”, was actually said to me upon checkout What?! YES, you ARE required to tell guests that they will be paying more than the promised pricesNot only was the stay dirty, dark, uncomfortable, and a noisy toilet for a week, but even though I checked out a day early because I couldn’t take it anymore, the charges were higher than the original quotes That shows a lack of integrity, breaking basic business tenets and permanently chasing away this customerDoing business there for the six days, everyone who came to the suite commented on the poor lighting and the toilet noise It simply wasn’t a comfortable suite Can’t blame Covid for everything, Sonesta Have the rooms ready for guests is my primary point (Thanks to Tori & Neal for helping me the first day with previous guest trash & some bags)I wouldn’t recommend the Sonesta brand to anybody Never heard of them before, never will again I prefer honesty, a clean room, well-lit, no running toilets, and certainly no financial tricks “that we’re not obligated to tell you about” at checkout

I really enjoyed my stay here at this beautiful hotel It was peaceful, front desk attendant very nice The room we were in was clean, neat and it was well worth the money

The only thing I didn’t like is not having a microwave in the room that’s why I rated 4-stars Oh, and another thing upon arrival to get to the room, the housekeeper had the all of her things (supplies) and dirty linen hamper blocking the darn doorway where I couldn’t even get in the room! I understand she has to do her job, but do it correctly and follow safety guidelines when cleaning Do not block the hallways nor doors That is definitely a safety hazardOther than that, hopefully the next time we stay here that pool up on the 3rd floor will be open! The view from up there and just relaxing by the pool

We stayed here for 2 nights over the memorial day weekend The size of the room is good, its spacious, the view from the big windows was great We could see the highways and bridges and city without obstruction

Sunset sky looks great from the room Breakfast was included and was a decent spread compared to the spread we have in the US but it was nothing in comparison to what we get in Asia Has a nice swimming pool and a big garden It is pet friendlyJust remember not expect a lot in terms of service or facilities because well it is US and not in Asia

This was easily the best value in the area A very clean, new hotel with some pretty grounds in the back We stayed six days in a suite

The staff was very friendly and helpful The stay was an excellent value despite some days of scaled-back breakfast service (that situation seemed in-flux, so check on that if you care) I think the value comes from the fact that the hotel is near an office park and may be designed for more pre-pandemic business travelers than they are seeing right now We were allowed to redeem a suite award despite the rooms being labeled premium suites (so your mileage may vary) Parking is $14 a day which is a better value than some comparable Hyatt properties Anyways, great stay – I highly recommend

Great locationThe breakfast is delicious with sausage links, home style potatoes, scrambled eggs, and moreThe fitness room was good

There is no laundry facility on-site with the closest one being about 10-12 minutes awayThe three stars are because it seems a little rundown It is nice, but there are little details that let you know that this hotel is old including nicks, scratches, and dents on the walls and door sills The lights in our living room space didn’t work, so someone just came in and unplugged them and said he’ll get to them later It has been two days, and he hasn’t been back yetThe bathroom light doesn’t turn on immediately; there is a delayThe elevators are slow One of them tells you you’re on floor 2, but it’s really floor 1 Floor 3 is really floor 4While the housekeeping staff are working on your hallway, they yell to each other and play musicThe a/c’s thermometer was not right in our room I had to turn it to 65 degrees for it to turn onAll in all, these are minor things, but when added up, it feels a little less than what I expect from the Hyatt brand

We are on day 1We are here with 16 other familiesLocation is convenient

the edge

I’ve stayed at this location several times when I’ve come into town for work and the service has always been top notch I believe the gentleman’s name is Jamal who works at the front desk and he’s always an absolute pleasure to deal with My last morning there I also dealt with a woman and I believe her name was Jackie as she was newer with the company, and she was also fantastic so good job on the hirings, it’s people like these two that make ones stay that much better
