I had a trip booked for seaside heights With a hotel stay with pool, unfortunately a friend canceled last minute leaving myself and my 8yr old son like what can we do? At last minute

I live five blocks from this establishment and I booked an overnight here Well🥰IMPRESSED! MOE the manager is exceptionally kind, polite and very accommodating 💯 our room was spacious, CLEAN and the bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE checked in at 3pm and then took my child to the Lyons public pool for a few hours that was just blocks away from our location So although my plans got canceled THIS WAS by far better! We had a nice beautiful place to stay and we only had to travel a few blocks for a pool I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place Our room overlooked the ocean and Manhattan skylineBreathtaking at night and beautiful in the morning Breakfast is served in the morning in the dining area but we sat outside on the beautiful patio Thank you moe for allowing my son and I to have a beautiful day and night of peace and quiet😊😊😊

Ikariada

Very spacious room, full of natural light, 3rd fl, corner The view of the New York harbor was unique, especially at night So was Verrazzano Bridge

Let me start off by saying I am a fan at staying at this embassy suites location because almost always I am greeted by welcoming faces all around, but Friday was very differentAfter a long day I wanted to grab a meal at the restaurant in the hotel, the server Danny was extremely helpful with the menu, and overall was great as she tackled table after table I did notice the chef was very rude to her and another gentleman

While I was eating I heard some things fall, and seen the person in the kitchen throwing pans It was a concerning sight because the energy from her was felt throughout the entire restaurantOverall I love the embassy suites, and I do enjoy the service but this was one of the first days I did not finish my meal It was very undercooked, and too greasy for my liking I’m hoping for some improvements moving forward because usually the restaurant is one of the best parts of staying at this hotelI do give credit to the server that was working, she is one reason I am still willing to give this hotel/restaurant one more chance

The staff at this location is super nice, friendly, helpful and professional The overall perception of the employees, everyone works as a team making this Hotel the place to stay The lobby is very spacious, the complimentary breakfast is on point, the rooms are a decent size for a family of five and lots of outdoor parking spaces

Although some of the rooms are a little outdated, this is more than made up for by other characteristics of this guest house The location is amazing, literally a few minutes from a metro station & well within walking distance of attractions like the High Line & Times Square There is a courtyard garden, computer room, laundry & the complimentary breakfast is great

The rooms are a decent size & very clean & the staff friendly & helpful A great place to stay on a visit to New York

Natalia Kowalska

There were mice in the room, the staff knows it and doesn’t even try to pretend it’s a coincidence and they’re sorry or that it will be safe on another floor So be sure – rodants are there! After check-out, there is a problem with the refund for all upcoming nights I agreed to check out after providing a refund for all the upcoming nights, but despite this unequivocal assurance, the refund turned out to be much lower than it should have been

The contact was moderately pleasant I do not recommend!

Kmdmtnpa Pittnash

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Wyndham Garden Brooklyn Sunset Park The property is very well lite and easy to find We had a very pleasant check in and the room was very clean

The night clerk INSISTED on seeing photo ID for my 14-year-old son

He said NO GUEST CAN GO UPSTAIRS WITHOUT A PHOTO IDThis was news to meI went to my room and tried to find an alternative place to stay My son was stressed out I was tired from the drive We couldn’t believe this nonsense I looked for other hotel options and called friends to see if we could sleep over — not an easy thing to do during a pandemicAfter three hours we gave up and my son was a stow-away in a room I paid $300 for We canceled our evening plans and had to hole up in the room Instead of a relaxing visit, the evening was soured by a rude bureaucrat who thinks children carry photo identificationThe following morning a helpful desk clerk clarified that the photo ID rule does not apply to anyone under 18 Tell that to the night clerkotherwise: nice room, good water pressure

Lisa Churchville

This is a great place if you are visiting Brooklyn on business It is convenient to many subway and bus lines The place is very clean, comfortable, bright and cheerful and the neighborhood is busy, diverse and safe

It is not a destination resort It is a great place to plug in your laptop, enjoy a pleasant view, have a good breakfast, and get to work

Lorenzo at front desk was amicable and made our stay comfortable Located right next to the Hudson berger trail and the waterfront! Will define staying here every time I visit jersey city and even recommend to my folks to stay hereThank you!

Sean Q

Nice hotel and location for families, ordering deliver to hotel, and walkable to Exchange Place and Newport Mall areaLarge rooms with kitchens are a welcome change to tight NYC hotels, a meal delivery and pickup area at front of hotel with security officer is a convenient perkService at check in by Lorenzo was welcoming and reminded my of Travel Pass perks

Although bed is comfortable, some local light rail train traffic keeps you aware of the busy Jersey City

Booked for a trip to NYC, this hotel was the perfect place to stay for us The location is great, around 10 minutes walking from either Newport or Hoboken station, easily walkable The staff was very friendly and even allowed us to store our bags after check-out

The view from our room was great, seeing the NYC skyline from the room gave it a special touch The room was well equipped, comfortable bed and a spacious shower The proximity to the road was not bothersome Breakfast choice was decent All in all, definitely recommend!

Quia Querisma

The property was clean and comfortable with spacious guest rooms I was glad to see the bed had a mattress protector on it, even if it did make me sweat like a fiend before I knew it was there and lowered the temp in the room at night 🤣 I stayed here because I had business in SoHo and it was a very easy trip into the city Just a quick walk and 1 stop on the Path train

The location can’t be beat

Johan Zegers

If you want to stay in the area of New York this is a good place to stay 10-15 min walk to the train station and within min you will arrive in ManhattanHowever, the service was not that good, asked if it was possible to check in earlier but when I arrived, I am busy you need to wait

Breakfast is ok, fresh in the morning However, rooms are not that clean Lots of dust and weird spots in the bathroom I cleaned myselfBed feels comfy!

Another stellar outpost from an outstanding NYC mini-chain serving upscale seafood fareEverything is delicious The lobster Mac n cheese came with SO much meaty lobster pieces

The salmon was impeccable and juicy My friend had the chicken and raved about it too The ceviche was also delicious! And complimentary chocolate pudding desserts! This will be a hot date spot in West Chelsea for the foreseeable future, and with good reason!

Hugh Price

We went for the happy hour It was incredibly tasty, the service was very friendly and efficient and the it had a great ambience I was particularly impressed with the happy hour oysters which were the east coast ones

The oysters were exactly as described them and I found them surprisingly meaty Also the tomato salsa that comes with the calamari with a perfect addition to the meal

Sorry to say this hotel is declining in quality, though still preferred over other area hotels The rooms are nice and clean, but no longer well appointed and are run down No extra blanket, hotel menus are not in the rooms, room service is pleasant but you’ll eat with plastic utensils and food in aluminum containers

The breakfasts are great, buffet style, and will cost at least twenty dollars, but worth it Don’t look for a TV guide to channels, it’s not there In general, one expects better quality from a Hilton

Merde Mail

Average Lobby is lovely, restaurant is good Breakfast is a little pricey

Room was starting to show its age: poor caulking, carpet was dirty, and the shower faucet was dangerously close to falling offFront desk staff was mostly pleasant One female was rude and unpleasant Was purchasing snacks & drinks and she acted very inconvenienced by my presence, said very little, couldn’t even be bothered to tell me I was all set Left me standing there awkwardly until I finally had to ask, “Am I good to go?” I got a curt yes in replyParking spaces are very tight

Nicholas Lippa

The lobby and facilities were very pleasant and well kept but the rooms appeared to be severely lacking Furniture in our room was heavily blemished with gouges out of wood surfaces and hazed over windows from lack of exterior cleaning The vent in the bathroom appeared to have not been working for an extremely long time as the light fixtures in the bathroom showed signs of rust and pitting

All of this combined with what at this point felt like a somewhat outdated room for a premium price coupled with the lack of even a complimentary breakfast left a rather sour experience overall as it wasn’t necessarily bad but felt more akin to a run of the mill motel rather than a brand that is supposed to carry some type of prestige such as the Hilton

Right from the start I was greeted by the employees in the front and about the entrance Truly felt specialI was checked ✔️ in with no hassle and given further instructions from the professional taking care of me

Everything regarding from the front desk was spot onThe food was great delicious 😋 ,along with the impeccable serviceThe hotel also has another hotel in the same complex the Hilton GardensWhat a beautiful place as well with much more amenities Will have to check ✔️ it out soonI’m sure the visit will be just as rewarding ☺️***** five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 all the way around

LU

Stayed 7 nights bc I was having work done on house We extended stay so we had to switch rooms In each room, furniture was broken

No ironing boards in either room Shower still in 1 room was not very clean No extra roll of toilet tissue & no garbage pail in room Just essentials missingHowever, the people that did breakfast, did a terrific job Clean, well organized Plenty for all & it was crowded Staff very friendly & accommodatingRooms need to be maintained much, much better

Cori Frede

The room was a nice size with plenty of outlets (often a problem in hotels) but was really run down The carpet was stained and the walls were dirty The shower needs a good scrubbing and a shelf or two

When I went to grab something from the car, I smelled a burning smell on my walk back in and noticed smoke coming from the wood chips by the plants I told the front desk and she said it was probably smokers that didn’t dispose of a cigarette but she went immediately called for someone to go check In fact, the friendliness of the staff was the only real positive of my stay It was only one night so I didn’t complain but I doubt I’d stay at this location again It was not up to the Hampton Inn standardSide note: The noise from the highway was loud all night If you do stay here, maybe ask for a room on the other side of the building Not sure if it will help, but it can’t hurt

I had past a fantastic vacation in W hotel, thanks to the view and great staff3 subways station and more are close to the W We are a front of the One Word Trade Center, Oculus and Memorial

Very good emplacement and quiet placeOne problem, my room was not very clean, under my bedside table I found bottle and Starbucks cup That all

Crimson Legacy

Absolutely wonderful location, helpful staff, beautiful interior, unique vibes, and very clean and well-maintained rooms Amazing views of World Trade Center OneThe only downside was no mini fridge so we had to use the ice bucket to try to keep a couple drinks cold at a time

The staff at the front desk at all times of day and night were wonderfulTIP IF STAYING HERE: This is no longer a “W” hotel and has lost its association with Marriott It is now a “Washington” Go to where the “The Washington” light is projected on the sidewalk, walk in the automated doors, then go up the elevators next to the bar Take them to the 5th floor That is where the lobby is Hope that’s helpful

Camilo Baratto

Not great While I knew it was not the “W” you realize quickly there is lots of make-up behind a regular sub par hotel No hand soap while I stayed there and nothing to substitute it

Finally I managed to negotiate body wash (facepalm) While in NYC one would appreciate baggage storage… none availableA hotel management graduate is desperately needed at this establishmentWhile reception is nice and try their best, the staff have no clue what industry they are operating You can tell quickly that the lack of re-investment will make this place obsoleteVer disappointed, lugging my carry on for 3 hours until I catch my flight Was looking forward to biking around but this hotel has made this impossible

Listen! I love this place! The location is amazing you have the park and the river front around the corner and Penn station right down the street from ferry street! On top of the service friara and his wife prove an excellent service The rooms are cleaned and well maintained and make sure you’re comfortable during your stay They are very accommodating and will be coming back! They are responsive and very hands with any issues you have

Munashe Shumba

I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by this place! It is as beautiful as the photos The floors are in pristine condition, kitchen appliances are modern, stainless steel, the bathroom is clean, no mold, looks new, each guest has their own access code which grants access to only the appropriate apartment and bedroom which is perfect for security in a place shared by many It’s very clear a lot of love and money went into putting this place together

The spaces are also cleaned frequently and there’s a robot vacuum that periodically cleans common spaces Host/owner pops in to check in on guests every day or two There’s an efficient system to keep everything running smoothly from name tags in the fridge to lockable cupboards in the bedrooms The rules are very clear and sensible -keep your stuff in cupboard, cleanup after yourself, no sleeping on the couches, be fully dressed all the time- just how to be a decent human when you share a space with others This place is also very affordable! The neighborhood is lovely and feels safe There’s a gorgeous bike path and park a block away by the canal/river and there is another park with tennis courts 3-5 mins walking distance away 15 mins walking distance from Harrison Path and also from a strip with banks, shops, etc This place is for people who know how to live considerately of others The rest are going to spoil this gem for everyone else

Jermaine Cacho

Great place to stay with an even better price! Especially for the amazing quality you get Mixed dorms, however women get their own room and aren’t mixed into rooms with menIt’s exceptionally clean and very comfortable, as well as relaxing

The guest tend to respect one another and I never once felt concerned for any of my belongings turning up missing Many are actually very helpful to other guestsClean kitchens and all are welcome to use it as they please The owner, Mr Faria, is reasonable and always willing to helpI’m so honesty, it took some getting used to sleeping in bunks again at my age lol, but it was comfortable and I got along with my bunk matesIt’s not your typical hostel, it’s more like a bed and breakfast, only you make your own breakfast lolYou can’t beat the price for the quality

The location is great (close to NYC public transit and never more than 1 min wait for a ride share when needed) The free parking is clutch! The free breakfast was better than expected (delicious pastries, bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee) The front desk was friendly and helpful

The only downside was the smell of the room, which otherwise was perfectly fine and comfortable If the room smelled better it would be a 5 star little gem of a place in Jersey CIty!

Shishteres Sheshutes

The location was good, quick and safe walk to the subway to NYC but very loud from the street next to the hotel Construction and traffic was going on all night Had small breakfast which was great

Loved front desk staff, really nice and helpful Didn’t like the smell in the hotel, it was outdated but pretty clean I saw a few ants in the room which I didn’t like Hotel was kind of loud too, couldn’t really sleep Some other guests were screaming, someone walking in the hallway constantly Some weird water dripping noise They let keep my car parked longer than check in/out time

But that food we did order was awesome So thanks for the recommendation! The room was very nice as were the people at the front desk The location is perfect for anyone either going to Newark Airport or the Cape Liberty Cruise Port just an easy 15 minute drive away Already planning on coming back here in January

This is a very business heavy location that seems to be focused towards quick airport travelers rather than people going on vacation The location to the airport is hard to beat and a major highlight if you are making a quick in and out like an overnight delay or a flight connection They only provide up to 2 breakfast meals for Bonvoy members so if you are traveling with more than two people in the same room (like children or 3 people like we were) that might be a downside

The main issue was the charges Parking is $20 a day which seems a bit much Also our final bill has some extra charges to our room that we did not make We were trying to notify the front office, but the front desk told us they would look at it later We didn’t have time to wait so we just had to pay as is or we’d miss our flight An unfortunate experience at the end, but a serviceable place for very quick 1-2 night stays

The hotel is nice and the rooms were clean It’s in a decent location if you are going to the airport Beware if you are using their shuttle service

Getting to the airport isn’t a problem Returning from the airport is a big issue that they really need to fix They say they run the shuttle every half hour, 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the hour The problem is they never show upMy family and I have been stranded at the airport 2 or 3 times The shuttle never came even after calling the hotel We waited over a hour and a half at the P4 location where all the hotel shuttles are located This wasn’t a one time issue, it has happened multiple times The first two times we had to call a cab The third time a nearby hotel shuttle dropped us off It’s extremely frustrating after a long flight, it’s late, and still have a 2 hour drive homeI’ll never rely on their inconsistent shuttle service again Do yourself a favor and make other plans to get backIf driving to the airport, be careful and pay close attention to the directions The roads can be confusing and one wrong exit can add 7 or 8 miles to your trip Our cab driver found this out the hard way
