We’ve stayed here quite a few times, the last time before our recent stay being pre-pandemic The location is convenient to the city, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is decent enough, parking is free My daughter and I stayed in room 804 and our experience was the room is really in need of some TLC

1 Temp control was hit-or-miss, the thermostat being well-handled and old2 Furniture in the living room is Salvation Army-grade and there’s way too much of it for the small space3 Remote control did not work4 Kitchen faucet leaked5 The toilet seat was loose and moved side-to-side and I was not about to reach under there to tighten it6 The coffee maker was fun; the little spring-loaded button in the bottom of the filter basket did not hit the carafe lid, so the coffee stayed in the basket rather than draining into the potThis used to be a nice hotel but it’s becoming run-down It’s clean for the most part and convenient to the ferry terminal, the parking is free, the access to the promenade restaurants and to Pier 115 is a plus, but it’s just starting to feel old and neglected We’ll probably stay here again but we might just try somewhere else

I stayed here for two nights and three days I felt good when I checked in The lady at the counter was very kind

I liked the room, too A room with two queen beds and a living room with a sofa were separated It is free breakfast time from 6 AM to 10 AM I was also satisfied with the quality of their food I will stay at here again when I come back to NYC next time

ortalama vatandas

Great location, great size of the room, very decent food for breakfast, free parking Only thing to improve would have been the furniture in the room was very dirty and old I used cleaning wipes for the chairs and I covered the sofa with my blanket that I carry in the car to make sure my clothing does not get any stains from the furniture

One of the chairs had literally some black stuff like machine oil or something Since the linens, tile surfaces and bedding were clean I did not complain Room had water front view so overall great value for the price I wish they had let us do late check out and did not barge in the room before we were even dressed yet to rush us out before the check out time The asian lady at the front desk was rather mean towards us but rest of the staff was very cordial

I love this place Booked it because I am travelling with my son and he is passionate about music We are currently staying here and so far, it has been amazing

What I love about it is everyone who works here is very upbeat and friendly and tries his very best to help give you a good experience Service is great, food is very good, room service is fast The hotel is brand new and that definitely is a plus The beds are very comfy We’ll be back!

Staying here for 4 nights, long weekend visiting and exploring New York Booked the Hard Rock Hotel about 3 months ago, when it had … no reviews, no real pictures, only artist impressions, which did look very nice So very excited to come over from the Netherlands and jump into this new hotel; I did not worry as I had seen the one in Ibiza, which is great

Our impressions: Marvelous environment, with such a great atmosphere, all focused around music and a lot of luxurious and modern styling as you would expect HRH We did the right thing, you can book a lot of other hotels which may be nice for same price, but have very outdated furniture The rooftop bar is great, beautiful to see Staff is nice, and rooms offer a lot of space compared to previous stays in NYC Breakfast a little pricey, but for such an environment expected Exploring the artist stuff in the hotel is nice, brings back memories, Being one of the first guests, we are not disappointed Very well recommended

Les K

Stayed 2 nights Hotel is brand new Really nice 2 queen room

Somewhat small compared to other locations, but normal for NYC AC was great Location was very close to subway just around the corner Also short walk to Times Square and Broadway theaters Pizza place next door was fast and delicious Also very convenient deli/store right next door Family loved it overall Front desk was nice Coffee shop very nice though coffee was not quite hot and the latte cups were half foam Being critical, Elevators are a little frustrating Key card needs to be read before you can select your room and it doesn’t seem to read easily It’s also only on one side in the elevator so you see everyone struggling with trying to rotate into the corner to take their turn striking their key card and then selecting their floor It’s more awkward than it sounds You kind of have to see it

Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel, it was good Rooms look like they’re kept up with and they actually care about cleaning and maintaining them What made my stay over the top great was the lady that works the desk at night (didn’t get her name unfortunately)

She was super helpful and patient through the whole check-in and happily helped me with my 2-3 requests that I had throughout the stay Recommend this spot if you’re staying in the area

Dmitry Dolnikov

be aware that the rooms in this hotel do not have any kind of ventilation air in the room is stale and stuffy windows can’t be opened at all, there is no such option, by design, they are just air tight

imagine how it feels when you experience lack of fresh air and oxygen, increased co2 and decide if you’d like to book here i wish i knew this upfront and not chose this hotel ever

Carol Beynon

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but this place 0 stars I don’t know if it’s because we booked through a third party, but our room was filthy

It’s like they just came and made the beds and that was it… with comforters that had huge rips in them The floors and carpets had crumbs The bathroom floor had dirt and hair balls behind the door Oh and the microwave had dried up crusted food all in it It also reeked of cigarette smoke Thankfully we were only there two nights

Friendly staff and good location if you don’t mind the busy Broadway scene The shower in my room (16th floor) had low water pressure, and the “Continental Breakfast” was basically a plain bagel, Coffee and Bananas No gluten-free options, so definitely room for improvement there

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the room and Google won’t allow uploading videos on Google maps, but the room was decent and they didn’t charge me for receiving packages to the hotel — so I definitely appreciate that Overall 4/5 stars with some room for improvement

Wendy G

It’s okay I had a super tiny roomFor my money I prefer Marriott or Smarties Hotel Chain (TM)

Those chains don’t know what a small room is This place is tiny and they ask for your Vaccine card for everything ( so be prepared !! ) Gym is the BEST thing of this whole place Breakfast was toast and bananas Have fun !

Morgan Hill

The staff really make the experience So accommodating Shout out to Josh (go team pineapple on pizza) – started at check in with exceptional service at the front desk as we had a checked bag not make it to New York after airport trouble

They went above and beyond in understanding regarding that After recommending thoughtful venues and nearby facilities we were required to stop at we were directed to the lounge to enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese hour where Valentino took great care of my girlfriend and I on her birthday after a previous stressful commute to New York we were put at ease and forgot the troubles in his attentive care Thank you for making our experience special and memorable

Even though it’s going through renovations, this is a beautiful hotel From the lobby to the room, everythingfelt spacious Great security, doormen were so polite! Front staff was warm and welcoming

Our room overlooked the park, which was great because the sun didn’t blast at us in the morning Location is close to everything, particularly the subway – made getting around the city easier with so many lines that close I can’t wait to stay here again

Sam Kinken

I’ve always stayed at this hotel Spent probably 30 nights there over the last couple years Great proximity to Union Square, etc

But I’m now done with it The idea that you have a hotel with no restaurant or even a place to meet someone is totally illogical Obviously, this hotel doesn’t care about a business traveler and are expecting that unaware tourists are going to show up and fill their rooms Even at the front desk, when I voiced this concern, I was told the hotel is “sold out anyway” Well, good for them, but I won’t be a guest anymore Plenty of other hotels to choose from where at least you can get a drink or have a conversation that’s not in the lobby FYI, staff are always helpful and it’s not at all about them Whoever made this decision isn’t obviously staying at the hotel and it’s above those that work there daily Until then, there are other options… Oh, and lastly, change your website Don’t show a restaurant or seating area that doesn’t exist and put a note on there that says “under renovation” I’m kinda assuming that hasn’t happened because of the previously mentioned “unaware tourists” Also, remove the “amenity fee” Really disappointed and will also vocalize this to Marriott

Dana S

Employees were very nice but the hotel was a disappointment There is no on site dining (under construction until 2023) and you won’t find this out until you receive an email sent after the cancellation deadline for your reservation There’s one sentence in said email, kind of an ‘oh, by the way

’As someone who planned to use my Platinum benefit for free breakfast, that fact would have changed my decision on where to stay There’s also a $25 daily “Destination Fee” that you can use for laundry services, dining (see the issue?), mini bar or a tour No tour and no dining available so I came home with a suitcase full of $9 gummy bears after a 7 night stay Interestingly, they charge you sales tax on the “Destination Fee” but only credit you $25, so you’re forced to leave a couple bucks on the table every day The charges are not cumulative, by the way It’s $25/day, so if your mini bar isn’t refilled daily, you eat the $25 (no pun intended) If you have a $50 bottle of wine, you will pay $25 (after the $25 credit) even if you don’t take another thing from the mini bar during your stayFunny thing: I was charged nearly $90 for a bottle of whiskey and a “black box” which, turns out, are condoms I discovered the charge on my final bill (I received 5 separate emails after check out for reasons unknown) and called to contest the charge and the nice woman in accounting had to explain the charge As I was traveling with my two children in one room, I most definitely didn’t partake in any whiskey and/or condom necessitating activities Check your final bills carefully

Always a great place to stay during my trip to the big Apple! The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful Always trying to make sure our needs are met The front desk is always going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated

Minus one star for the cleanliness of the rooms (not very consistent), but everything else is great!

Service was awful (or racist) When I arrived I pulled into valet and was told to park across the street in the garage I told the attendant I don’t want my car in a garage its a brand new MB, I would like it valeted

He proceeded to tell me it’s cheaper, which it was not the sign said $50 for the garage and $45 for valet (it was The Fourth of July)I proceed to the front desk to check in and I would like to change the card on file I was asked “if I have enough money on my card” before switching cards how insulting!! I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be staying “if there wasn’t enough money on my card”My husband and I decide to bike on the Hudson then dine on the patio for lunch where the two host did not greet us but gave the nastiest look at me from my feet up to my head! After being seated my husband asked the gentleman was there an issue and he said “oh my friend wasn’t supposed to be at the host stand so we were just making a joke for him to go back to work” I lost my appetite after the third strike and left the restaurantI only stayed one night to enjoy the fireworks with my husband and endured all this chaos on americas holiday I guess I received the true American experience The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the cleanliness of the room and the location

Haydynn Fike

I was stopping in to use the living room as I have stayed at some W properties before and I was just looking to get some coffee and do some work They were filming a movie at the restaurant and coffee wasn’t available Joanne was at the front desk, and she offered to get me a cup of coffee and wouldn’t let me pay for it

As someone who also works for Marriott, we can use more like her Thanks Joanna! Can’t wait to stay the night at your property

Emmanuel Martinez (llike A Gentelmen)

Franco Sánchez an amazing employee who did everything he could to help me book a room The computer were down, felt like we lost all hope but he made me feel good about the outcome Please give him a promotion because his first class level of customer service is amazing and he will bring in more customers by his generosity, humbleness and understanding for his work

I understand the work is not easy but he made it work with miracles If the CEO of this company reading this review Mr Sanchez does deserve a proclamation for the level of expertise he brings to the company

Aromal Rajagopal

Poorly maintained facility From lifts buttons to all the way to room smoke alarm is bad Most of the heaters are not functional, and I could see other guests complaining as well

Water leakage from floor above because someone took a bath and overflowed People keep coming and going at the front desk, so what one person says next person has no clueLocation is at the the heart of time square, just a couple of blocks away Metro access right opposite, port terminal bus stop at end of block Lots of shopping and eateries Right behind Aladin Broadway showI think there could be other hotels at similar prices that are better maintained

Eric Liu

I have to say that this place is terrible I don’t even want to give one star If there is a lower score You cannot imagine how small the standard room is in this hotel

I would prefer not to say ‘hotel’ If I could because it is literally the size of a restroom Besides, the window of the room is only 10 inches from the outer wall of the next building There is no sunlight at all! Never come here If you have claustrophobia What’s more, the biggest room (which is queen bed room I believe) has EXTREMELY BIG NOISE coming from the next building CONSTANTLY!!!!!!! I cannot fall asleep in the late night The AC is also a big noise maker Staying here will definitely RUIN your trip!!!!

Location is great Rooms were clean but small Square footage was correct, but room layout not as pictured on website

Only one elevator, so be prepared to wait every time you use it I was hoping for breakfast I saw in the pictures, but now you get cheap pre packaged breakfast sandwiches instead of real food, although it is still better than your average hotelAir conditioner broke on my last night there I notified the front desk but nothing was done until after I left and no compensation

My family and I stayed here last week and we are very happy with our choice The rooms were clean, we had our own little kitchen (which we used everyday for dinner), the location was excellent and we loved having a complementary breakfast – with good products and very convenient for starting our day early and making the most of our time The staff was really nice

I’d like to highlight the excellent service of Jose, he was around in the morning during our breakfast He was always so friendly, helpful and attentive with everything Always with a smile on his face He spoke Spanish and my parents loved talking with him He adviced us on where to go and gave us recommendations – it was our first time in the city, so this was especially appreciated We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and familySome cons:The room wasn’t too big, not much storage spaceWe used the sofa bed – the mattress was thin and uncomfortable, you could feel the bed springsThere’s only one elevator, it can take long to come, especially in the morningsThe breakfast was very good for the price, many options, good quality, most of it was processed and sweet – but don’t expect toast or warm dishes except porridge

Sarah Mendoza

Really loved this hotel Our king bed was extremely comfortable- sheets as wellWe stayed at the hotel for almost a week while we were searching for apartments

I had to work remote and the downstairs area was perfect and internet was good enough for my zoom meetingsBreakfast varied but I would say very convenient and coffee was above decent (Not watered down!) Also – hands down to the gentleman working the breakfast area – always on top of things and making sure everyone had what they neededThe staff was incredibly friendly and mindful I appreciated their service House keeping did an amazing job!!! We were always taken care ofI would say for me the only downside is the area It’s not really close to any restaurants or bars, but a short walk to the train Personally I didn’t like walking back from the train when it was late to the hotel – so I ubered But during the day everything felt fineThe kitchenette in the room was also convenient Everything just felt nice and new – I felt very comfortable all week

A great hotel located on the Hudson River close to all Manhattan has to offer Clean ,spacious, bright rooms with everything you need for days stay or more Pleasant staff whom are willing to help and offer any assistance they can

Their restaurant downstairs called the PRINT was amazing A varied menu offering just about everything you could think of Service again was tentative, personable, and very accommodating We spent our honey moon here and will gladly visit again in the near future

Jamie Aronson

I wish I could give this place 0 stars For $700+ a night you think they’d at least replenish the toilet paper in the room stars

The hotel offers no assistance with luggage, no one to assist checking people in, no one to replenish water bottles or anything else paid for from the mini bar, and a fake out “in-room dining” button on the phones)The rooms are configured incredibly weird – my bed faces the door It was barely made when I arrivedTo add insult to injury, this hotel doesn’t believe in service apparently I never got a refill of toilet paper or bottled water during my entire five nights stay I had to call down to management every morning I do appreciate the manager waiving the resort fee as…this was far from a resortThe view could not be worseShall I go on? Will never stay here again

Sandra Doussin

Spent a weekend getaway at Ink48 and had a fantastic time! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful The junior suite we stayed in was very clean and super comfortable We had diner at Print

and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinksThe area has lots of other restaurants and tons of coffee shopsHighly recommend!!!

They clean your room every other day due to COVID-19 However, they give you clean towels and sheet per your requestI was very unhappy about that when checking out

Andrea at the reception is a nice representative of the hotel who was helpful to us Had she not compensated the inconvenience for us, I would be rating the hotel lower than this But I think their customer service is excellent So they deserve a 4-star review

Anthony McLean

Big suites for a very reasonable price, spacious parking, always friendly, helpful and courteous staff The fact that the room has amenities like large fridge, big powerful microwave, dishwasher(!), coffee heater, cups, plates, utensils, swivel TV and more is a huge plus When I return to the U

S, I always stay here Very quiet area with close proximity to Met Life Stadium, Teterboro Airport and the highway in to NYC and all areas of New Jersey There’s also a Costco, Lowe’s, Starbucks and other top stores, restaurants, etc nearby Love the place!

Rooms were wide but the washing basins were clogging Breakfast food options were very limited The pool was closed so kids did not enjoy and they say this is till the end of the year for renovation

They always let you go to reception for any request as there is no staff! I do not know how they operate a Marriott hotel like this! Couple of employees were short tempered and with all of that the hotel is making us pay premium prices I would not recommend staying here

This was my second time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint The rooms are beautiful and gorgeously decorated Oh, the Japanese toilet! All bathroom amenities were a nice size and lovely

When we checked in they asked if we wanted housekeeping services and we said yes Some services are cancelled because of Covid but none of those affected our stay We had breakfast in the Lamb’s Club and it was delicious (although expensive) The next day we ate elsewhere for less as there are so many places to eat nearby! The staff were very pleasant and helpful I can’t wait to go back again

Peter Ross

This was our first stay at the Chatwal and we are already planning a return trip soon Every aspect of our stay was excellent The staff, the space, the servers in the restaurant and bar were all top notch

The hotel itself is so well taken care of and the King Deluxe room was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave The design of the closures and cabinets are perfect The Lamb’s Club serves delicious food

Kaylee Locke

Welcomed by the lovely and attentive staff, checked in and swept off to our room within minutes – the team has set up champagne and flowers for us Every time we left, our room was cleaned/bed made, it was magical We weren’t even seeing any shows, but the location grabbed our attention because of how close it is to multiple subway lines

The room was quiet, you wouldn’t even know you were in the middle of Times Square

Stayed here 4 nights on very short notice after leaving another hotel that wasn’t as expected They took us in at 1030 at night and we couldn’t have been happier The room was exactly what we expected, the staff was friendly, and the location was really great

It was our first time in NYC The hotel was walking distance from Hamilton and Lion King It’s just down the road from Ellen’s Stardust Diner It is also only a couple blocks from Radio City Pizza, which had the best slices we got while we were there Excellent hotel, excellent location, Excellent staff I’d stay again without hesitation

Took my granddaughter to NYC for her Sweet 16 birthday in November 2021 We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and it was awesome The location was perfect for all the places we wanted to visit, and we loved that it was right there in Times Square

We were 2 blocks from Radio City, about 3 blocks from 5th Ave, maybe 5 blocks from Central Park about 3 blocks from the theatre district It doesn’t get much better than that We were treated so well by all the staff who were very welcoming and accommodating to us I mentioned when I checked in that it was my granddaughter’s first trip to the Big Apple and that I would like a room with a good view for her … our room looked out over Times Square … perfect! We had a little trouble with the heating/ ac, but the staff took care of it right away The concierge was excellent in helping us to navigate to our places of interest The room was adequate for our stay as we were out and about most of the time It was always clean when we came back at the end of the day and the beds were super comfortable Our housekeeper was so very nice and friendly We always had a nice conversation when we saw each other It room could use a little updating on the decor, however I really can’t comment on the food, because we ate our meals off sight Overall, it was perfect for us Plan on staying there again when I take my other granddaughter there for her Sweet 16 in a year and a half

Stayed a whole week in two adjacent rooms The location is outstanding; spot on times Square In can see the illuminated boards from the window

Comfortable, modern and spacious rooms The hotel’s restaurant is overlooking times Square The hotel is a few blocks from all Broadway shows Sometimes, you would hear loud noises from the square up to late night But overall it’s a great choice

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights recently on a trip to see a couple Broadway shows, and it was perfect! The building is beautiful and well-maintained with a unique, vintage feel, which is exactly what I was wanting as opposed to a huge chain hotel We were upgraded to a superior king room with a small balcony facing the street, which was great! The staff were very polite and helpful, and the free breakfast was really good They can store your bags before check-in and after check-out, which was really nice

The location is great, just close enough to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, etc but far enough away to feel like you’re in an actual neighborhood And of course tons of great restaurants nearby! There aren’t a ton of amenities if that’s important to you, but the rooftop lounge is a nice plus, we’d love to come back when it’s warmer to be able to enjoy it more! There is a piano bar right across the street that was rather noisy at night, but it didn’t bother us too much Overall highly recommend Hotel Scherman!

Kristine Neyra

I had a wonderful stay They let me check in early and the room was spacious with a small terrace to look at restaurants below There was live music nightly from the restaurant below but that didn’t bother me

Location is great, I even walked from Penn station to this hotel with my bags So many great restaurants in the area as well Room has a fridge and microwave And water pressure in the shower was great! I didn’t try the breakfast that was provided I did check out the rooftop terrace which was only for guests which had a decent view

I booked after reading some great reviews and wow were they accurate We were looking for a convenient hotel, good service, and bigger room (2 beds, 2 baths, etc)

This was the perfect spot! And one we definitely plan to come back to Location is great – so many food options, transport, etc next door Room was really great – comfortable, clean, and amazing balcony! Finally, literally every staff member was genuine, helpful, and kind It was arguably better/more genuine service than what you get in a lot of 5 star spots Thank You!!

Overall a great hotel, and definitely plan on staying here again if in the area Check in was easy, the room was great, and breakfast at the restaurant was really good and decently priced Couple weird quirks, no top sheet on the beds, no wash clothes, and didn’t seem a waiter knew I was sitting outside, but that’s probably just due to new staff/lack of staff everyone is experiencing right now

Would recommend this place and would stay again, think the money we paid for the stay was perfect

Rooms are small but clean Personnel are friendly and helpful (with one notable exception) At check in, we asked about available upgrades and were told that we were receiving a complimentary upgrade

The man then gave us a room that, we found out later, was not supposed to be available for guests due to major maintenance issues and was NOT an upgrade even if the door and the sink worked properly It was clear that he deliberately lied to us as we found out two days later, when we were told that we had to move rooms and we should never have been in that room because of the well documented issues and that room upgrades were not a thing at this hotel and we hadn’t received one (which was obvious as soon as we saw our room) Moving rooms unexpectedly made us late for an appointmentOther than the deliberate lie and deliberately putting us in a room with a security issue (door did not shut properly), the stay was a positive experience

Bret Williams

A very pleasant enough remodel The linens and general vibe was nice However, a couple of peeves: the desk chairs are not on wheels

Makes it very difficult to move close enough to do work while easily getting up Second, the lighting in the bathroom is way too dimAlso, the wallpaper in my room was peeling at the jointsGreat location and friendly staff Needs some work, though to make it a 4 or 5 star hotel

We had a great time at this hotel The room was lovely and clean with stunning views of lower Manhattan I also loved the bathroom, especially the shower

The only complaint I had was that I didn’t find the bed very comfortable, the mattress felt a bit cheap and there weren’t enough pillows provided without having to ask for moreThe staff were all great, from the front desk to housekeeping The bartenders downstairs made delicious cocktails in a comfortable space, but it is extremely pricey even by NYC standardsWe will stay at this hotel again next time we are in NYC

Karla Mei Robertson

A lovely hotel Rooms are small, but it’s NYC people We had a Superior room and it’s good for 2 adults but definitely not for a family

Stick to a Courtyard or Residence Inn if you need more space! The staff was very nice and the views are fantastic Ask for a north or south facing room, as high up as you can go! The shower is very slippery Watch out Excellent location with some of the city’s best restaurants within a few blocks We will definitely be back

I stayed here for one night two weeks ago As an ambassador elite, the hotel staff did email me beforehand to welcome my arrival and address questions I may have had They also approved my “Your24” request, which I was very thankful for

Although the check-in desk did not acknowledge my ambassador status, the hotel staff did leave notes inside the suite All the staff I interacted with were courteous and polite I must say though, that after having first stayed at the Times Square Edition, I do not recommend the New York Edition There are plenty of reasons for this My experience at Times Square Edition was just more positive I got a better view, including a private balcony, better food, bigger and better fitness center with a cheaper average nightly rate Despite being in Times Square the hotel itself was also quieter The New York Edition, however, seemed like it catered to the older more conservative business crowd and not the younger, solo leisure travelers like me Overall, even though I had the Madison Suite, one of the bigger room sizes, I felt my stay was boring! Not only was the lobby bar closed, but the building was surrounded by scaffolding and full of construction workers in and outside the building Additionally, I wanted my photographer to take photos of me inside the hotel and they told me this wasn’t allowed, which is stupid since there are numerous photos on Instagram all over the property Times Square Edition and many other properties did not have an issue as long as other guests weren’t in the photos or I did not disturb them when taking photos The photos were just me and one other person no different than taking cell phone photos

Excellent stop for the night as we were passing through Rooms were a little dated but seemed to be well kept Great location with ample parking

Breakfast was a nice touch, nothing fancy but was enough different options Very warm receptionists and very accommodating when we asked for an extra cot for the room Highly recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton in East Rutherford!

Very disappointed pool was not open for our children however I guess I looked and it said that on the website Unsure why though ? But I was impressed with my room very clean, and Spacious!!!! Awesome staff and location was great for people going to American dream or NYC Central Park was only 7miles ! Ideal for visiting a lot of amazing spots Elevator was making noises that WAS kinda scary though

But all in all I would give this hotel 38 out of 5!

I like this hotel It’s not the newest hotel around, but it’s certainly not rundown It’s definitely well maintained and clean

Cleaning staff were almost always visible and working My room had a tub, which I assume is standard I prefer showers Breakfast was good and service is excellent They have an outdoor enclosed half basketball court with an excellent vinyl floor and you can get a ball from reception to have some hoop fun The gym, though, is somewhat small and equipment a bit datedA big plus for me is the hotel’s location It is right opposite a small mall, which houses a Marshalls, Aldi and several eating options Several other restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive Don’t think that the close proximity to these shops make this hotel noisy or busy It’s very quiet and I felt very safe and secure I would undoubtedly stay here again

Fantastic hotel which is situated in a great location, a stones throw from Times Square Lovely room, great decor, easy to use safety deposit box in room Amazing choices for breakfast

Would definitely come here again Only marked down for service as we were told we had unlimited bottles of water (which was part of the service charge) yet having paid the £300 charge, we were subsequently told that we were limited to a 330ml bottle per day between 2 people That was the only let down and we felt slightly cheated Otherwise this is a great hotel to stay at

Zac Lloyd

Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel – April 2022AMAZING CENTRAL LOCATION FOR TIMES SQUARECheck-in service was great

Staff amazing, very friendly and approachableRoom was above our expectation, outstanding view from the 41st floor to which you could see times squareThe beds were made very day and a general tidy upFresh towels and an amazing bed !We had breakfast 3 times, no waiting time, got seated straight awayDecent selection of food Great fruit selectionAlso had a gym, if I would have known I would have packed some gym wearWould highly recommend and would book again in the futureHOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: There are two Hotel Riu Plaza in times square, when I booked my transfer I selected the other hotel without realising there were 2 hotels This caused a bit of an issue at with the transfer, nothing to do with the hotel Just be mindful !

Shelley N

The room was very clean, had everything we needed, and the location of the hotel was excellent The breakfast buffet that came with our room was amazing and included too many items to list

all fabulous!!! The staff was wonderful, especially the Bellman, Santiago, who went out to the street to find us a cab to the airport when the service they use said there would be a delay He was so helpful and polite! The other staffers were great, too, with the exception of Shawn, the bartender, who had a bad attitude and needs to learn some manners and to smile occasionally
