This hotel was much nicer than I was expecting for the price! We arrived very late after landing at 1am I called ahead to notify them that we were still coming and they had our key all ready for us It was well lit and I felt safe there traveling with my child

There was a dog odor in the room, but when we turned on the air it dissipated quickly The beds were comfy and the room was clean and recently updated Breakfast was standard hotel hot breakfast with a pancake machine It was well stocked and the staff working it was friendly

Anthony Strong

The room was not clean A huge spider crawled out the shower when I opened the door The thing had to be quarter sized or better

I requested services as I was leaving both mornings for work and I got nothing The floor in the room was uneven By uneven I mean there was a hilltop between the bed and dresser Walls were thin, and despite calling the front desk, I had to go and politely ask my neighbors to please be quiet at 12:35 am I strongly do not recommend

Dionne Melton

Their phone only works sometimes When we, meaning me and other guests reported it to the front desk person she said she doesn’t know how to fix the phones Breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful but the breakfast items were not good

Fruit that was minutes from being spoiled, some type of strange egg patties, and mushy sausages The rooms needed some work, the desk had burn marks The hotel was so over run with kids that it sounded like galloping horses above our head Children we’re running the halls late A nice gentleman working did go and quiet then down We also didn’t get to utilize the pool or spa because they were full of small children with very few adults They also had a group holding a late night meeting in a conference room When it was over they just all stood around the lobby loudly hanging out They also helped themselves to the coffee and tea area and the attendant didn’t replenish it When I said there aren’t even any more cups or lids she said, how many do you want Lol I also complained that the walkways outside were ice covered She said that was handled by an outside company and that they had salted the previous night The beds were comfy I wish I could have left a better review

I enjoyed my stay overall The room was pretty nice, a little bit dark though I was disappointed that there weren’t bathtubs but no big deal

The TVs apparently have a way for you to connect your device and stream to it but I could not figure that out at all There weren’t any hotel guides or area guides in the room, not a big deal at all but something that I always enjoy A map of the hotel would have been handy since it took me a while to find the ice machine and other spaces I was there for a conference and multiple people complained that they had no idea where to find the ice machine Again, not a huge problem at all but it would be an easy little change to make life easier Overall, I enjoyed my stay It is in a great location, nearby some of the best restaurants in the city, and I would stay here again

Brian Abram

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I was disgusted with the level of customer service from the front desk staff and the cleanliness of the room There was a clear difference in the way in which I was communicated with by the front desk and I made sure to mention that as I checked in and out Maybe a diversity training would be beneficial for staff

In terms of room cleanliness, it looked as if the room hadn’t been cleaned at all Very dusty and hair everywhere from last guest Luckily, I brought my own cleaning products from home in case this happened The point is, I came to this hotel for a meaningful conference, but the hotel didn’t provide a pleasant experience for me Please address!

Ruta P.

Nice hotel with beautiful suites We had VIP Suite with separate dining area, wet bar and city views Very clean and well organized

Front desk staff very professional and very friendly We came for the sporting event and loved the idea that hotel is actually connected with the venue so didn’t have to leave building to enter the convention center Hotel itself had a restaurant and a bar with not that many options for dining, that’s probably only negative thing I would see but since it is located in the downtown, there were quite few places you could go to Close to the airport, 15min drive which was very convenient We used hotel car service which was very easy to book and they were also ready for us to leave when we were heading back to the airport Overall great experience

For $150/night range this place was a major disappointment I truly wish I could post pics of the place I stayed last night for the same kind of money

But in all fairness this is a Hampton Inn it is not a Hilton so I kinda have to take that into consideration However at least the room could be clean and odor free which it is not I stay in hotels 300 nights a year and I will certainly never stay in this one again

Emi Morrison

Upon checking in, we realized the room we got was not what we booked on Expedia I explained this to the front desk and she apologized and said that for whatever reason Expedia lists the room wrong She offered to upgrade us to the large suite for free, but we decided it was okay with us to keep the room we had gotten

Our boys were looking forward to bunk beds which is what the room had We thought there were bunk beds & 2 queen beds but the room instead was 1 queen bed and 2 full sized bunk beds It still worked for our family stay with 6 peopleThe lady who helped us at the desk was very kindBreakfast was very good with many options and large seating areaThe pool was… Not the best experience Very cold and slippery There was lots of hair on the ground around the pool too We let the kids swim for a few minutes then got outOverall Okay

Cindy T

This was perfect for our needs No complaints Comfy beds and rooms

Clean No bugs (yes, we check each room we stay in) LOVED being connected to the casino Only 4 stars BECAUSE IF they would add room serviceholy moly! I would have been in heaven! Great place to stay! We WILL be back Btw, bathroom pics was AFTER I used the sink and got a towel out

I had a great experience at this Hilton property I had never stayed at a Hilton Canopy before, and therefore, wasn’t sure what to expect The hotel was very modern and clean, which I appreciated

It had the feel of a new hotel (not sure if it is or isn’t) There’s a restaurant located inside that had good breakfast for our stay The hotel is also centrally located in downtown, which made it easy for us to walk to our destinations and the area was nice as well Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed the vibe of Canopy Overnight valet parking was $33 a night, which felt steep There’s no ATM on-site, so come prepared with cash for tipping

Cody Pritt

This property would be incredible if you could adjust the thermostat The hallways on our floor were set at 70 and showed an actual temperature of 77 Our room was set on 68 and it could not be lowered

It was 90 degrees outside and we were soaking wet with sweat all evening I asked for a fan, but none were available Although it said 68, it felt warmer The rooms themselves were great, spacious, and well kept We had breakfast there and it was also great Given the fact they have their thermostats locked and we were incredibly uncomfortable, I’d not return The Hilton two blocks away is incredible and their thermostats actually allow for air conditioning

Caitlin Taylor

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was phenomenal! Absolutely adored this hotel, my family only stays in Hilton hotel brands and this one did not disappoint! Staff was attentive, answered all my questions, cleanliness was superb, and we loved the room The shower was amazing and their valet was fantastic! Will definitely stay here again if traveling down to Columbus!

Amazing accommodations that go beyond and above expectations You really feel like you have your own apartment, everything is provided down to the pods for the dishwasher and washing machine Easy facility access and great customer service, this hotel is not for the technologically impaired though, as you need to fill out moderately combersum forms online and use codes provided to you after a virtual check-in

For me this was no problem and is a great improvement to the normal hotel systems Would definitely recommend this location to traveling professionals

Jeff McEndree

Our stay at Mint House was overall a great experience The 2 bed 2 bath suite was laid out well and it was fully furnished and including all the amenities you’d want The only issue we had was the hard floors in the suite were not clean and when we reached out to get a mop there must have been a miscommunication because the building entry was mopped but we never received one

The initial check-in at the entry is a bit cumbersome as you have to use a kiosk that is accessed via voice to get the fobs for door access into the building The building is located close to the commons and the Ohio Statehouse and well within walking distance to many restaurants Staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and friendly Overall we were very happy with our stay

David Arbogast

I think this place is designed for business professionals who are traveling alone You could not access local TV stations or CNN You only had one chair that could be used for comfortable watching TV

The other chairs were metal at the table and not very comfortable I doubt I would stay with them again based on price and value The closet is in the bathroom which makes no sense to me

Great room, fantastic staff and superb location We experienced a power outage in the neighborhood and the staff was apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault The valet service was amazing

Everyone was helpful and friendly This was my first time in Columbus I’ll definitely come again and stay here Well worth it Unique and fun decor too!

The staff was amazing, super-nice, and helpful! The room and the rest of the hotel were a little dated, the room was clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable and the air conditioning worked really wellThe cost was fairly reasonable and is a little gem by the airport

Sky High Nikk

Front desk staff were nice at check in and the rooms were clean The hotel is extremely outdated and desperate need of a remodel The pool is needs fresh paint job

The reason why im giving it two stars is because obviously the rooms but because of housekeeping on our last day We were in the process of moving our stuff to the car and told the housekeeper outside of our door that we will be right back to get the last load in 5 mins The housekeeper ignores us and started tossing our belongings in the trash when we made it up to the room I called the front desk to complain and they didnt seem to care Very unprofessional ! I should have stayed at the nicer holiday inn on broad st!

We decided to take a quick getaway to Columbus and this location was fantastic The room quality and size for the price can’t be beat The room was very clean and the check-in/out procedure was easy

They had a great selection for breakfast and the employees handling that were very friendly as well We did not use the pool but it was open and looked clean We will definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area

Angela Sebesy

You can tell that the staff cares about the cleanliness of the hotel, due to how clean the rooms were Only reason for the 4/5 is because the walls are paper thin and we were woken up several times by the teenagers in the room next to us between 1a – 3a We had to call down to the front desk 3 separate times to rectify the situation and they did send someone up each time we called

Breakfast was good, even had gluten free options Definitely a convenient location if you are going to Easton for a shopping trip!

DJ E

Amazing hotel, just went last weekend! Very clean, pool wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be, but it was probably a lot of people that went in There must had been a cheer competition going on nearby, it was really busyOverall very comfortable, clean hotel, staff was amazing! This is probably the best hotel in Columbus, especially with it being by a shopping mall!

Great location, amazing manager, and very friendly staff combine to make this pretty friendly hotel a wonderful place to stay in Columbus! Though it is near the airport, it is not a noisy location The doors to the rooms do not slam, which is an incredibly valuable feature in a hotel We also noted, that though we were on the ground floor, we did not hear the people above us

Having our own kitchen area, including a full size fridge, was very convenientWe had a reservation at a budget hotel at the North part of the city, but upon seeing the room there, my husband decided we needed to find a better place to sleep This was it!If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely choose this hotel

Jonathon Oldfield

Pretty straight to the point hotel Needed a cheap lovers getaway and a lot of places were already booked up solid, snagged a room for $163 on a friday after taxes and fees (was listed as like $121 or something I don’t remember)Super clean, very sanitary and covid conscious

There were other amenities that we didn’t take advantage of like gym and laundry Queen bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, variable shower head, handicapped bars Had a full kitchen including electric stove top

First let me say, the staff was great Very friendly and accommodating and trying to work with what they have at the front deskThe rooms however

whoa Dirty carpets, stained throughout and the fitness center was a dingy dark room The halls of the hotels had lights flickering, thought it was HalloweenThe cleaning staff never came to switch out dirty towels (front desk helped us) and we had to empty our own trash cans on a 3 day stayThis hotel needs a serious deep cleaning and fixing up

Jeremy Rippel

We recently stayed here and had bed bugs When we told the front desk, nothing was done Left a review on hotels

com and got a email from the manager Manager just said “we do monthly cleanings and have pest control come in, please reconsider us” I absolutely will not reconsider this hotel, and don’t recommend this hotel The only reason why I’m not giving it a 1 star is because the hotel did seem to be recently renovated

Customer Service is lacking Just a tip: maybe try smiling at your guests? That’s kind of CS 101 We chose this hotel because we needed to stay with our cats while we showed our house and they are pet friendly

We left a night early as we scheduled showings earlier in the day on our last night and they didn’t inquire as to why we were leaving early (if we were unhappy with the room etc) Breakfast sucks, but we expected that Our room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable It was fairly quiet, as well

Ranell Prioleau

The hotel is nice however they have bed bugs I am not one to do a review but the way the hotel handled it was unacceptable I woke up to something crawling on my pillow at almost 5am, so I was able to capture it and I proceed to the bathroom with bug in my hand

Get to the bathroom kill it and a lot of blood is on the tissue I get my phone to do a Google search on what kind of big is this and it came back as a bed bug This was new to me because I have never seen one before So I call the front desk to notify them of what just happened He told me to call back around 7am when the manager gets in (He did try to find me another room but they were booked) no problem I just sat in the chair at the desk until later So I proceed to the desk later that morning when the manager arrives and I say “Good morning , I wanted to just report that there are bed bugs in room I am in” he proceeds to tell me “No they are not we check all of our mattresses and flip them over” 🤔😡 So now you are calling me a lair? At this point I was over it because I only came to be courtesy to let you know what I found at your hotel So now you want to say I am a lair that is a problem to me because I have no reason to lie I am a Diamond member and I always stay at Hilton hotels So I proceed to show him the picture of the bug and now he says oh maybe it is a one but we check all of our begs Not once did he apologize for calling me a lair So now I have red welts on my face and arm that itch like crazy So if you stay be safe and careful!

Nykemah Cannon

To start off the room was nice there were just stains on one of the desk and the toilet seat & bathroom door was broken We were expecting to at least sit at the pool but the chlorine was so strong (and if you don’t know that means that the water is extremely dirty) I couldn’t even stand in there for 5 minutes with out my eyes burning and my head starting to hurt But overall our stay was amazing and employees were very welcoming

They only have valet parking $$ In witch they did a fabulous job having our car ready to go out for dinner and in the am when we werrr ready to go So I guess I can’t complain about the valet

The breakfast servers were on it but the food served was not $$ buffet style and it was not hot The room bedding and air quality was great So I slept good A nice full mirror in the sleeping area but no lighting near it

Jessica Kenimer

I had a meeting at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel this morning to tour the facility for the Brady Ware Women’s Leadership Conference we’re hosting there in June The hotel is beautiful and Amanda has been great to work withI was running late for the meeting, it was pouring outside and I didn’t see the “valet parking” sign before entering what I thought was a parking garage

I pulled in and Nick greeted me I asked him for parking suggestions and told him I’d only be at the hotel for about 45 minutes and was running late He was so kind and offered to keep my car nearby for me and validated my parking It was such a kind gesture and took a lot of stress off of me so I could get to my meeting Thanks so much Nick!

So I’m here on business and the company has made reservations The company had not paid for the rooms because of some confusion to our reservations We called our travel office and they guaranteed payment

However, the attendant was very reluctant to give us rooms unless we place it on our personal card and then have the company reimburse us Mind you this is a fortune 500 company that keeps its commitments We only had a three hours before we had to travel onward Anyway 2 hours later they received the authorization and then the attendant offered the rooms My colleague accepted but I declined because our limo was due in 30min I will be writing this event to our company and hopefully we drop this hotel for I got no rest but aggravation So much for customer satisfaction or working to resolve issues Horrible job I would have expected better

Stayed here for work, first time Outstanding property, as I remember a Marriott ( Courtyard) being Very friendly staff, girl in Bistro in the morning was very nice and accomodating

Spotless room, gym is the best I’ve been too Hotel is bright, clean, smells purified as far as air quality Top notch property, can’t say enough good things about it Places to walk to for dining, safe area, as I walked to eat by myself at night

Jan Schmidt

Did not enjoy my experience at this motel No coffee or cream in lobby Cafe area was closed at 6:30 and still at 8

No coffe available for guests Service in room was little to none No coffee cups in room to even make black coffee in the roomOur room was clean Bed was wonderful; but absolutely no frills or welcoming atmosphere Not an attractive location Definitely not up to Marriott’s standards

Bill French

Most staff were friendly The programmable thermostat kept the room at 80 degrees all night and the fan ran all night sounding like a washing machine running The room was clean and the bed comfortable though

The morning breakfast was closed due to a no call no show employee They need a cross trained employee or some form of ack up plan

The hotel is pretty cool Its made from an old bank which I think is pretty neat The rooms are great, very nice and clean

Bad parts are the parking is $30 a day, and the free breakfast although you get your food from the old bank vaultthe food is horrible Worst hotel breakfast I have ever had I am supposed to be here for a month I chose this hotel due to its location and free breakfast, however I think I may be changing to another location I am here on business and the breakfast was a huge must have, and this breakfast does not meet any expectations Very sad from such a cool hotel

The hotel itself was at a great location, right downtown and near the convention centre The staff though in particular is what will keep me coming back At the bar and restaurant, a gentleman by the name of Will was extremely kind and helpful

He knew all the great spots that two tourists should visit in Columbus, was friendly as can be, along with the rest of the team at the bar/restaurantI am from Canada and travel through the states a lot for work and leisure, and can say that this spot had the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced10/10 will be back

Outdated, dirty and dirtierChecked in and got to my room, food from previous guest was still in fridge and the dishwasher still had their dirty dishes inside Called front desk and didn’t get much more than a sorry

No offer of different room, but rather an offer to send someone up (it was nearly 10pm when I checked in so I declined)Bathroom tub was so gross, moldy trim and even moldier shower curtain Stains on the carpet in the main room No AC vent in one of the 2 bedrooms and it was 90+ degrees outside, so that room was pretty unusableOverall, really disappointing for a Marriott Would never stay here againOnly decent thing is the location, but even that leaves a bit to be desired in my opinionHotel needs updating to be at Marriott level

We prepaid for our room for a relatives wedding The night of the wedding the Window crashed inward to our room waking us at 4am Then we were told we weren’t at fault and wouldn’t be charged… until we were

$500 later and some major safety concerns and they still maintain I did something to cause the window to break… while dead asleep This is all after relatives booked this hotel for a wedding Avoid these crooks who care more about their bottom dollar that they do the safety of their guests!

We stayed here starting in November of 2021 to present day (June 2022 work related long stay) and the staff was friendly But then in early December ’21 my husband was admitted to the hospital and I was left to handle our 3 small children, him in the ICU, Christmas and just everything and everything was falling apart Lucky for us we had the amazing staff here at stay bridge! They went so far above and beyond for my kids and my family

I spent the next 2 months at the hospital with my husband and had family with our kids (Yes he survived and has recovered mostly) The staff here went and bought all my kids Christmas presents as well as Christmas trees and decorations and helped them decorate the room and tree! The made sure my kids got the letter from Santa making sure the kids knew that Santa was aware they weren’t home this Christmas but presents were still coming! I cant tell you how much the staff here saved my life multiple times I would come back 1x daily to shower and leave again and they would make sure I had a towel waiting and food ready so I would remember to eat They were beyond customer service They are the good left in humanity They genuinely care about their customers I can not recommend this place enough Rooms are always clean Staff is, well, extraordinary, incredible, good hearted, attentive, ready to help people Who I will always remember and carry with me in life Link, Ara, Matt, amy all of them deserve the best life has to offer The house cleaning staff is so great too! Whatever you need they are there Great people, very friendly and have no problem helping out All in all the staff I can’t speak more highly of The hotel itself is nice Very clean, tidy, well laid out, free washer and dryers Pool is wonderful Basketball courts are well maintained 200% recommend!

The room had plumbing issues, missing coffee maker, toilet was not fully bolted down and rocked the staff was nice enough, but the place needs a major run through to fix the problems in the rooms this place is no better than 2 stars at best

Reading the other reviews, the management keeps asking for people to return so they can try again, clearly they have made no efforts to fix the problems that others are complaining about Why would anyone come back?

I am not happy with my stay The staff who checked us in was fine but the breakfast lady was really rude and almost burned me with a pan of hash browns, she never said excuse me The plates in the room had food on it

Most of the dishes was in the dishwasher and not clean There is mold in the freezer And when housekeeping was cleaning, they kept banging the wall and woke us up paint peeling in bathroom Police are always in the parking lot because it’s not a good area Just listing the facts Holiday Easton is such a better location!-IHG member
