Picking Zion Springs as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made From the beautiful setup, to the amazing customer service, it was truly a stress-free, dream weekend Laura, Sophia, and the rest of the design team made every detail come to life exactly as we pictured it; and Doug, Bethany, Tommy, and the rest of the photography and film team could not have made our weekend feel any more special

They were all so fun and truly made sure that everyone was having the best time possible 3 weeks later, and all of our guests are still talking about how amazing the “End of Night Video” is! We have all watched it at least 100 times each 🙂 Also a special shout out to our girl Sabrina, who is the best bartender ever!! She is always the life of the party and doesn’t know a stranger! We feel extremely blessed to have had this experience at Zion and highly recommend having your wedding at this venue with these amazing people!

We were there for our grandsons wedding to his best friend since first grade, this was 20 years coming Our hosts/owners Christine and John were truly wonderfulTheir staff and vendors priceless, professional, friendly making our three days memorable

We were special to them, we felt it every moment from our arrival until the day we left John was there to bid us farewell, sharing a few of his marital tips for a long and happy marriage That was magical, not only for the new couple, also for us all They are blessed

May 28, 2022 weddingEverything was absolutely perfect The whole weekend experience from the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party, the wedding and the Sunday brunch was great

The staff was exceptional they took care of all our needs The food was amazing And all the guests loved the venue from the gardens, the lush green fields, to the side outdoor areas to where we had the pre party happy hour and the after party The reception in the barn was so much fun The DJ “Hutch” knew how to get how to keep everyone pumped up and dancing the night away Shout out to Laura our event coordinator! She nailed it! Down to every single detail Doug and the whole photography and digital crew did an amazing job! Everyone loved the late night video! It was the icing on the cake! Thank you all for this wonderful day! John the owner and his wife are the best! I stayed there 3/18/22 The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there was hair on the shower wall that was there beforehand I feel we are paying good money, it should have been clean

And the steam shower was still broken in the spa (not as big of a deal though) The restaurant (room service) and the spa totally made up for our unhappiness with the shower not being clean The room service is phenomenal! Super fast service and accurate Nice, hot, and delicious food! Yum! Everything is definitely farm fresh or at least it seems The spa treats you like a queen I was there for my birthday this time, and Christine T gave me the seasonal awakening treatment (winter) She was so amazing and kind She made sure to apply just the right amount of pressure She listened to me and it was very relaxing I really like how she made me feel comfortable as well (I have social anxiety) I’ve been to many spas and she is by far the best massage therapist I have ever encountered I will be going back because of her and the great food!

Second time staying here The first time we were upgraded to an estate room- thought that was so nice This time we brought our dog and are staying in the terrace rooms- hello! These are not a downgrade, they are just as fabulous

I actually prefer the terrace, being able to walk right out onto these gorgeous grounds is fantastic The terrace is so private I love this entire resort Everyone is so friendly This place has great energy, I’m so happy here Having our dog with us makes it feel like home, it’s so awesome that they allow pets We only live ~ 30 minutes from here but it’s such a fun getaway that the whole family looks forward to

This hotel is clean and mostly quiet We stayed in room 213 2/18-2/20 The gentleman checking us in allowed us to enter our room before 3pm which was very appreciated because my Daughters back was hurting

The bathrooms are large and water pressure and temp were good There are temp controls in room This was a cold weekend and our room was warm & cozy The breakfast was plentiful and the free coffee was good with flavored creamer options The pool was clean and the jacuzzi open The location was safe and close to many things driving dist There is a mexican rest walking dist I would definitely stay again The only reason I did not offer a 5star is because there was no hotel bar There is plenty of parking

This is more of a review of Hilton as a company than this locationStayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July, Sunday and MondayMade reservations only for $134

Per night plus all the taxes of course – normal and expectedGot the receipt via email and discovered that that I was charged $134 for Sunday and $153 for MondayI spoke to the manager several days later thinking they made a mistake or some extra charge was added He basically tap danced through our brief conversation, being unsatisfied I called the 800 #, The customer service woman said there were no extra charges added but that’s just what that room costs for the second night and said that each hotel sets their own policy and that’s how the system works based on how full the hotel is on any given night huh???So what I gleaned was the first night is the price advertised but multiple nights can be different based on how “the system” feels and you won’t know how much you’ve paid until you get your receiptThat’s an unfair business practice

We recently booked a one night stay through the app because it was a perfect distance for us to stop, coming from Atlanta and heading to CanadaAfter 10 hour drive, we pulled over to the hotelFrom outside it looked good, I had checked with the app so went straight to our room

To our surprise the room had several stains on the ceiling, with one having an actual water drop on itWe changed rooms then our second room smelled like someone had smoked cigarettes To our third room we go, as soon as we turned on the A/C it reeked like someone had peed in it!!!We were outta there I made sure to let the front desk lady about all these issuesWe ended up at the Homewood suites by Hilton, 2 blocks away

Clean and modern feel Staff were very friendly and accommodating of questions and requests Nice lobby area with kiosk PC and printer

Pool was small but clean and well setupRoom was very spacious with kitchenette, sofa and ottoman, king bed LED lighting was bright and not harsh like those awful CFL things most hotels useOnly small negative is that I need an early out and breakfast does not start until 7:00am, but they sent me over to the nearby Hampton Inn that starts serving at 6:00I will be up in the area a bit more often, and will try to stay at this hotel

Vicky Alexander

Our new hotel! It’s so clean, like smells like you just cleaned your house clean, not bleach clean If you’re in Charlestown, don’t even look anywhere else! I can’t say enough good things about this place, super friendly staff We’re here to try out the casino and it’s right there beside it

But I’m most impressed with the hotel itself cleanliness myself! IHOP in walking distance, gas Can’t bet it Will add video soon Love our room too!

Nice, quaint place tucked off in the cut although it is very accessible to the nearest highwayThe rooms are spacious, bigger than some studio & one bedroom apartmentsAs an extended stay hotel, you have the luxury of having cutlery and dining accessories in your room as well

There’s additional amenities that makes this place feel even better Such as a pool, outside grilling area, event hall/conference room, and even a basketball court! The location is good because you’re able to drive into Maryland within 30 minutes or make it to Washington DC within an hour’s drive Dulles international Airport is roughly 25-30 minutes as wellThe service is great Due to the pandemic protocol of yesteryear, you have the option to elect for daily housekeeping of your room

Stayed here for a wedding and the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly My wife and I stayed in a suite style room so it had a full kitchen If there was a way to the bed and sheets out of the room without them noticing, I would have done it

It was the most comfortable bed and the softest sheets we’ve ever had in a hotel While we didn’t use the pool, it was very clean and plenty of chairs available They also have a basketball court next to the pool Their complimentary breakfast is like most with an assortment of cereals, fruit, waffles, bread, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns/tatertots

Warning for anyone who may be considering this property for a wedding block Dealing with the sales coordinator, Anita S, has been nothing short of a nightmare

Not exactly sure why they’ve entered the hospitality business at all From day one, Anita has been curt and generally unfriendly Despite that, we still went ahead and signed a contract for a wedding block It took a significant number of emails and calls to get the contract and then have the mistakes in the contract corrected However, it has been literally impossible to get a hold of Anita for any subsequent questions or concerns Try a phone call? No luck! Email? No response! Highly recommend you look elsewhere – don’t add this stress to your life when you’re planning a wedding Certainly the worst vendor that I’ve worked with thus far!

We loved our stay at Springdale Village Inn Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly innkeeper, Murray, who told us to feel right at home (which we did) The property was beautiful with a garden, chickens, ducks, and cows

The house itself was like being in a museum, full of history, art, and antiques Come morning we had a delicious breakfast prepared by Murray accompanied with great conversation The whole experience was something to treasure and we’d love to stay again next time we’re in the area Speaking of which, the location is great! Close to restaurants and wineries while still giving you the privacy and serenity of a 5 acre farmThank you for the hospitality!

Sarah Schauffler

I cannot begin to express how amazing our stay was at this exquisite bed and breakfast! Every room in this special Inn speaks of years gone by and we were transported to another era Each antique piece of furniture was chosen with the utmost care to create such a beautiful space We came for a girls getaway trip to visit wineries and do some antique shopping

Of all the fantastic things we did this weekend our B&B and its host were by far the best part of our trip Murray is a special person He is soft spoken and kind He makes you feel welcome in a way that feels like you are home and not just staying at a hotel for the night All of us girls enjoyed our talks with Murray over breakfast The breakfast made with eggs from the chickens right there on the farm was delectable! We spotted one of the peacocks that roam the property right outside our window As we were leaving Murray took an array of photos for us It was a truly memorable stay and one that we cannot wait to repeat in the near future Thank you Murray for making our stay so special!

Ramona Carey

Had a wonderful 2-night getaway at Springdale Village Inn! The Cashmere room was spacious and beautiful The house has an amazing history, and the owners have made it very comfortable, with lots of sitting areas, lamps, artwork, homemade cookies, and complimentary wine Murray was very responsive and took care of all my needs

And he prepared a delicious breakfast every morning! The farm is lovely, with lots of free-range birds, some cows, and two adorable calves Highly recommend this Inn for a quiet weekend getaway

Stayed here for a few nights while my house was being worked on and it was comfortable The complimentary breakfast was amazing There was a large selection and the food was genuinely good

The bathroom in the room needs to be deep cleaned and renovated There was a mystery stain on the ceiling above the shower and the caulk was peeling and gross in many spots The wallpaper was also peeling and damaged in a lot of spots The room was really humid and no exhaust fan in the bathroom I would probably not stay again due to the bathrooms

This hotel exemplifies what staying at a Hampton Inn should represent Meticulously clean and comfortable Breakfast staff especially friendly and extremely attentive to details

Location ideally located to see several national parks in area As a last stay after 3 weeks on the road, and staying exclusively at Hampton Inns, our trip is definitely ending on a high note

Donald Williams

Very clean, well maintained property Management team and staff were all professional, knowledgeable and demonstrated true “customer service!”A true hospitality team! A model property for Hilton! Thank you for a great hotel stay experience

Madison Crawford

I have to say I went for a relaxing day with my family for my daughter’s birthday and everything was absolutely great The staff was friendly the rooms were clean and comfortable they put out fresh warm cookies in the evening and the breakfast choices were delicious They had everything from omelets to make your own waffles cereal and fruit for the kids yogurts muffin and bagel station even to go breakfast bags to grab on the go

But the hot tub wasn’t working and that was a big part of picking that hotel for my daughter’s birthday so I had emailed customer service and they actually responded the very next day and we’re very sincere with their apologies and wanted to make it up by refunding our room so we could take our daughter back to redo her birthday! And we will because everything else at that Hampton inn was super great But knowing that the people working in the customer service department actually really cared about my daughter’s birthday vacation not going exactly as planned and making up for it is not something you get with all businesses and it makes me truly appreciate this company even more I would recommend the Hampton inn in Charlestown to anyone looking for a nice comfortable places with all the right amenities!

I can not say enough good things about the Guest Services staff at the Hillbrook! They made us feel taken care of before we even got there, and greeted us as if they were genuinely excited at our arrival They even put out dog bowls and treats for our puppy Newton, who was traveling with my boyfriend and I And I haven’t even gotten to how amazing the room was! From the super comfortable king bed, to the fireplace with cozy armchairs, to the soaking tub, to the fluffy robes and towels—we were blown away by the entire space! Breakfast the next morning was phenomenal, but not complimentary like we thought

We stayed at the Carriage Inn for a girls weekend The B&B itself was amazing! Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks The owners, Marie and Donn, were top-notch hosts who created a comfortable stay and offered the perfect options for sights to see and places to eat

The introductory history of the house was a welcoming touch Charles Town and the surrounding area provided so much for us to see/do Loved all the history and charm of the B&B and the area We plan to return!

Chase Church

Yvonne and John are the most kind and welcoming people who run the sweetest inn It is clean, historic, and down to earth The rooms are amazing but on top of that you are welcome to sit in the sitting room, front porch, and back sitting area to read, talk, eat the pastries Yvonne made extra and drink additional coffee and tea

They make a fabulous prompt breakfast We even had dinner with them and some other super amazing guests, and got to know each other better They are very personable and made us feel right at home! You guys are the best!

Timothy Fournier

Jonathan and Yvonne are probably the best hosts you could ask for They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house Breakfast was definitely 5 stars

The room was beautiful, clean and the perfect getaway We were amazed by the entire experience We’ll be back I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to experience pampering
