Some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long long time Breakfast staff was amazing friendly The only issue we had with our stay was on our 1st night around 230am someone decided to turn it up and nothing was doneThe pool bathroom needs some TLC It’s rusted more than tow-mator

Krystal Brown

I loved this hotel! It was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful The hotel was so beautiful! It even had a fire pit downstairs They offered a complimentary breakfast as well

Parking was annoying because it was packed and hard to find a park Also, there was no smoking rooms Aside from that, this hotel was amazing and a good price I will definitely be staying again!!

Just absolutely blown away with the service I received when checking at here The building was super clean and the staff was over the top friendly He made checking fast and explained all the service they have to offer

My Room was set up and super clean when I got in The indoor pool is clean and the bed is super soft I’m always worried about staying in hotels that are super affordable but hands down this one will always be the one I go to when I’m in town! I legit could not ask for anything more !! Awesome work to the staff and employees that puts the time and effort into making it the way it is!! Wish I could give more stars!!! I look forward to my 4 day stay!!!

Nyasha Mangwiro

Stopped over for a night on our road trip – We arrived a little late at 9pm The check in and check out process was swift and the service rendered by Tazay was amazingThe room & bathroom were super clean

Loved the hot breakfast with sausages, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice, yogurt and waffles Lovely staff, very polite Good place for a stop over if driving long distance as it is close to the i85 I would definitely stop over again should I need accommodation in Charlotte!

Ivonne Raiford

I absolutely loved the customer service After a 8hr delay missing a flight (missing 🧳) is nice to see someone that smiles and says let’s not stress you anymore, here is a toothbrush and some toothpaste get some rest and let me know what else I can get you The bed was sooo comfortable, the bedroom was very spacious nice size fridge and microwave

Everything was super clean The person at the counter made sure I was aware of the breakfast time and offered to do a wake up call so I wouldn’t miss breakfast (Since I came in at 3 am ) I’m glad I woke up for breakfast they had pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and 🤤 cinnamon rolls Fruits , cereals, bagels and more I’m just sorry I only stayed 1 night The hotel doesn’t offer the airport shuttle but it’s worth extra cost for the taxi (Sorry,I was too tired to take pictures )

I was very impressed I showed up with no reservation (I always do this to myself) half expecting to hear “Sorry, we’re actually booked for the whole weekend” And that’s exactly what happened

But, when I explained I just needed one night for my family due to our long trip they were able to help us Location is great: just off the highway with plenty of restaurants in the area, although there’s a great bistro in the lobby if you’re sick of driving (like me)

Holly Wheeler

Had 2 rooms 4 nights with teenage boys for a local basketball tournament I have worked in client experience industry 25 years and can easily spot individuals that capture the essence of delivering superior service Keonna was not only helpful and friendly but welcoming greeting each guest with a smile

She made sure we were well taken care of Will book here again next time we are in townClean rooms and facilities

The staff was super friendly, very polite! Nice lobby, bar abs Starbucks coffee Also on site washer and dryer

but Upon check in my card was double charged, which was addressed by the front desk clerk none the less an inconvenience Second the shower all though very big had mildew in the bottom and we killed what looked like a cockroach in the closet But due to a very busy volleyball weekend we could not change rooms Not my best room experience at a Marriot if in the area again probably would find other accommodation

Really nice hotel and staff The room was clean, well equipped, and quiet for a Saturday night The manager was very kind and helped me get a room when my flight was delayed and all the rooms in the area were sold out

Complimentary breakfast was also very good with a wide selection The room I stayed in also had a microwave which was very convenient

Amy Tilson

This is the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at We chose this location specifically because of the rating Rooms 216-219 are located next to openings above the lobby

You can hear everything!! I had to call the front desk at 11:45 pm to ask that persons in the lobby quiet down They did not do this of their own volition The hallway is also stifling hot in that location due to the openings Breakfast was very limited compared to other Hampton Inns and of a much lesser quality than expected Rooms were similar to other Hampton Inns, except the bathroom doors faced into the sleeping are instead of the entry That is an awkward placement consodering they are sliding barn doors and don’t close completely as is I would NOT stay at this location again

Amy King (The Real Estate Lady)

Was in town on business and stayed too late to drive 25 hours home, so, last minute, Hampton Inn it is My stay was great! Staff was great, hotel was in great condition, room was comfortable and breakfast the next day was just right to get me on my way

As a Hilton Honors member I’ve stayed at my share of hotels I’ve stayed at more than a few Hampton Inns and this one was by FAR, the best!

Stay was mostly pleasant Hotel was clean, quiet, and staff was helpful Only issue was that they charged me a pet fee for my medical service dog (not legal, they’re medical equipment) and I didn’t notice until I got home because I got an email receipt and didn’t go over the charges at the time

We made sure to note that I’d have a service dog on booking the room and she was clearly labeled as a service dog

I absolutely love this place I stayed two weekends in a row! The first weekend I was extremely upset because I took my children to swim for the weekend and they were unable to do so because some kids bullying my son! Melissa came down personally to make sure my son was okay But MSLILLIE IS OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!!! She comforted my son and make him feel so much better and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed

It was only because of her that we came back for my son’s birthday on 4/16 our stay was way better this time around and we were looking forward to seeing her smile at breakfast! She is absolutely amazing and she definitely saved me as a customer because before her I didn’t want to stay there ever again!!!!! She is definitely and asset to the quality inn brand! We love MsLillie ❤️❤️❤️

Susan Nelson

Great price for the location to go to Carowinds The pool is alright, not very spacious but it was enough to satisfy the children We got the room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa, it was the most spacious room we’ve had for that combination in the last few years of taking vacations with the kids

Breakfast has a great variety!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you definitely won’t be disappointedAll of the employees are so accommodating and awesome! I have to give a special shout out to Raymond! After a long stressful week I checked in to this hotel and was greeted with so much kindness that it was mind-blowing Raymond has excellent customer service skills and he went above and beyond to help me with all of the questions I had about the property and the surrounding area since I was traveling from out of state We need more customer service representatives in our world like Raymond!!

This Hyatt Place is one I stay at because of it’s proximity to the airport and so I can get out of Charlotte, southbound, without getting stuck in much traffic I wouldn’t stay here if you’re heading north in the morning, as 77 has a tendency to back up with rush hour This an older Hyatt Place that uses other hotel brands soaps (Best Western shampoo that smells like confetti cupcakes?) and only gives you one soap bar (what do I wash my hands with?), which is kind of a pain

Proximity to the road means that if you get a room on the street facing side, you may we awakened by the Challengers and Chargers making sure you know how utterly cool their drivers are Breakfast here is also more limited than some of the nicer, newer Hyatt Places I stay at Food options nearby are VERY limited and after 9 PM good luck Best part of this hotel is the staff Very friendly, very kind

amber garner

Very disappointed This location has really went down The carpet was VERY dirty, the fire detector was missing, electric panels missing

I itched the whole time I think carpet mites I triple checked to make sure it was nothing else The TV didn’t work at first Only saving grace was the guy at desk (can’t remember his name) He brought me 3 different remotes and called later to double check that the TV still worked Also the ice machine didn’t work, had to go to 3rd floor, which smelled like weed I understand staffing shortages and again, staff was fine But management should do better Definitely don’t stay here For some reason, the pics won’t post But I plan to turn them in How do you not have a fire detector? How is that safe or legal?

Our room had comfortable/stylish furniture The bed was comfortable and clean The hotel offers various free streaming options on a large LG tv in each room

The bathroom was spacious and immaculateLoved that his place was dog friendly! So difficult to find a clean and comfortable hotel that is dog friendly with out being expensiveThe breakfast was a little lack luster, but was fineWe will definitely stay here again on our way to or from Florida

Kurt Thaxton

First and foremost I want to say the rooms are very nice That being said, the service at this hotel is horrible! The staff is almost never available at the front desk I am referring specifically to the morning staff

The evening staff is better at being present and available for their guests I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel until Marriott takes a serious look at the customer service level of their front desk staff at this location

Shalagh Hunter

Rooms were a very good size for a family of 5 We were able to set up a playpen in the room as well with no issues Beds were comfortable enough

Complimentary breakfast was decent Bathroom could’ve been cleaned better Could hear some road traffic, but worst of all the room next to us had a party until like 2am Had to call the front desk and I know several other rooms called as well because I heard them knock at least 3x to ask them to settle down I just don’t feel like this should’ve been stretched over like 3 hours I had a horrible night’s rest with a long ride home in the morning

Gotta give 5 stars to the service I received from Cali at the Hampton here in Charlotte! I travel a lot nowadays and Cali provided some amazing service Staying here on a business trip and was greeted by one of the brightest smiles I’ve seen all day Cali was a big help and getting me situated with my mom

Checking in with super easy with her helpThis Hampton location is conveniently located off of one of the main highways It’s a little far outside of the downtown area so it’s fairly quiet around it I didn’t find that it had much walkable stuff around but I did arrive to my room at 10 o’clock at night The hotel was quiet where there weren’t many guests and loud people around The room was clean This is not one of the newer locations that are updated so things are a little old but it’s clean and tidy The decor is that oldies 2010 decor – you can tell the hotel is in need of some RenoFive stars for the amazing service I received from Cali

Pri S

Stayed this past weekend and Room was nice Breakfast was good Fred and Darrell were amazing and very welcoming

Even the security guy was nice My biggest issue is the day I was leaving I was trying to get a towel and wash cloth for over an hour and was finally told they do not provide those to guest that’s leaving , I’ve never heard of that before and even though all of the used towels and rags was in the hall they wouldn’t provide one set And it’s sad it took over an hour to find that out

Deena Seifert

The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable It’s nice to have a breakfast in the morning before leaving Two drawbacks — eggs were cold even though they were in a warmer and the tub/shower is a slip/fall issue waiting to happen

Once you are soaped up, the tub is super-slippery Even the grab bar was slippery with soap on my hands

Greeted with a smile upon arrival by Rosa at the front desk Check in was simple and she answered all my questions The rooms were clean and spacious

Beds were really comfortable The hotel was clean all over and quiet Breakfast was really good (turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, grits, and waffles just to name a few things available) Glenn the attendant greeted everyone with a smile and made sure that the food stayed fresh and cleaned and sanitized after someone left their table for good Checkout was very simple The final bill was prepared and put under your door the morning of checkout Keys just had to be left in a box on the front desk Rosa told me to have a safe trip home on my departure Highly recommend this hotel

Nicole Webster

The hotel itself was nice for a simple one night stay before we continued our trip Rooms were good for the price and simple However, the lady that was working when we checked in was rude, the doors outside are locked and saying they only allowed people over 50 miles away because of bad Covid, and the hot breakfast had hair in the eggs and I reported it and they said it wasn’t them because people are supposed to wear hair nets and walked away…

Nelson Chamer

Very nice hotel, and I had a good stay The staff was friendly upon checking in and the room was clean Comfortable bed

Peaceful location The only reason I’m rating 4 stars is because the shower drain needs to be unclogged I hate when the water rises up in the tub while taking a shower Drains should be checked periodicallyOverall great hotel, and would stay again

Joshua Williams

The room SMELLED! It was a strong mildew odor I was told that the room would be freshened etc

still after that the room had the same odor The linens did not feel clean Kept feeling like the linens were moist… The pool was out of order The bar/restaurant was never open There are holes in the wall in the hallway on the second floor It sucks because the hotels right across the street were so much better than this one The staff at the front desk are cool, but my stay was horrible and I feel like they just took my money and didn’t care how my stay went Never again!!!

Savage Ltm

Extremely disappointed in our stay, The main reason I booked this hotel over others was due to the indoor pool bar and restaurant on site none of those amenities were open and there was nothing saying otherwise on the website at the time of booking When we arrived the staff seem to not care and offered nothing to make up for the lack of amenities considering that we paid quite the full price for the room The room although appeared clean most surfaces when touching them were sticky

Going forward I would have a hard time booking any Hilton affiliated hotel as this was a most unpleasant stay

Although the pandemic is hopefully coming to a close, it is no time to relax standards of cleaning and disinfectingThankfully I travel with my own lysol spray, wipes, towels and pillow cases If not for those items, I would have departed this hotel within 15 minutes of check in

There were hairs on the sheets, crud (of unknown origin) in the bathroom and other indicators that the room had not been deep cleaned in a while Housekeeping changed the sheets upon request but this experience has made me consider even packing my own sheets!Simply put – Do better!

I did not get any photos, we pulled in at 2am or so after almost 7 hours of driving, me and a buddy were headed south to buy a car We headed to breakfast around 0815 Let me tell you that was one of the best hotel breakfast I have had in awhile

The staff was great and keeping everything stocked up to included the bacon The bacon was perfect The breakfast alone started my day off right for the the drive for the next 3 hours Room was fine, would easily stay at this location again The breakfast was what all holiday inn and hampton inn should be striving for, that kitchen crew should be given the kudos they deserve

Anthony Pinto

Clean room, and convenient to the interstate We stopped late to just rest our heads for the night near the end of March 2022 Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good for the cost of the hotel

Rooms were modern and cleanWe would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arose

T CErick

It was okay for one night There was stuff splattered on the walls The ceiling in the bathroom had stuff splattered on it

The big light had bugs in it The shower is so tiny that you can barely stand and it’s very slippery The ledges in the shower are slanted and can’t hold anything The inside of the fridge was disgusting The lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming The beds were comfortable and clean, so like I said, it’s okay for one night

The room could deserve a little more detail oriented cleaning, we found candy wrappers hidden under the phone, and the shower had enough bodywash for only one person Other than that it was a great stay, staff was great! Very attentive to all our needs on every shift Pool was a little small, but just big enough to have a great time with our nieces and nephew

Linda Noga

All of the staff was friendly and Check-in was quick and easy staff friendly, although our keys did not work Breakfast the next day was good, a nice variety, good coffee, nice staff BUT The next day we come back and the key didn’t work again

And the TV didn’t work But because it was after 8 o’clock there was nobody on call we had to wait till the next day Next day in the morning the TV was fixed but I had to call again to remind That afternoon the keys didn’t work …again 3 days in a row They said the key won’t work if it’s rubbing against other cards, mine was in a dress pocket by itself The iron in the room didn’t work We were not told that housekeeping would not be coming to our room, you’d think we should get a break on the price or more points We were here 5 nights, every night I asked for decaffeinated coffee and twice I asked for toilet paper Lastly, I had to ask for towels to be refreshed Oh lastly don’t buy water, it’s $4 for a 12 oz bottle that’s $50 at Costco,

Greetings,I first would like to acknowledge it took 3 days before I was able to reach a person at the font desk, either no answering or they simply hung up on me Next I would like for you to be aware of the customer service that’s given from your front desk representative, I was explaining with using your IHG app and your IHG website it was providing two different information as far as having it accessible room She chose to over talk me would not hear what I have to say I didn’t explain that booking

com is also showing accessible rooms just like your website but not on the app She told me that you are don’t have any rules which that is untrue because I was able to find two rooms available accessibly for my in-laws on tomorrow night stay I do have updated preferences however I am very exhausted from talking to the individual at the front desk and feel like I was miss treated and overheard As a customer service representative you should always be attentive to what the customer is saying and ensuring that you are not over talking so that they can properly explain their issue My issue was not resolved and I am uneasy about my in-laws staying the night over here I would like a call back from you that general manager with an apology and allowing me to express my sincerely concerns You will find that I am a platinum member and my business also provide us with discounts for staying at your hotels I know this is not something that I should go back and report to my job that your hotels are treating members as suchYours truly the mistreated customer

The room was good size We upgraded to a suit The spa jet tub was nice, odd shape hard for a couple to comfortably enjoy

The furniture in our room was severely stained, faded and worn The carpet was also stained and worn Lastly The sheet had marks from pen stains on it We slept well we felt safe Biggest issue was cleaning issues and being right next to elevator caused noise Staff was nice I wished breakfast was included, they wanted $675 for cereal and Danish or $1195 for hot breakfast buffet

I am a very tall person and love that the shower head was place nice and high so I didn’t have to crouch down or bend over to wash my hair Room was super clean a lot nice as always The only small thing Is I wish they would remove the timer from the jacuzi so you didn’t have to wait 20 min

But that does not change the fact that it Is a very nice place to stay

It was clean! It was welcoming and it was SO well priced for all it’s offerings! $15000 for a king, with large jacuzzi tub, big fluffy towels and mini kitchen “a la” hotel style (Keurig, fridge and microwave) The front desk could NOT too enough to help, advise and coordinate

Rai was a superstar! Nestled behind a busy road it actually feels like a quiet area! It boasts a pretty pool, work out equipment, andadorable snack center ( a tad overpriced folks) The waiting lobby was bright and spacious and so airy A great place to read a book Have a talk Have a cup of coffee or even work on your laptop! Not all small hotels are created equal but in this particular case the location, the staff and the team philosophy seem to prevail!

I’ve frequented hotels for over 25 years and never experienced this before

the light blocking curtains are intentionally installed in such a manner that you cannot close them As others have complained, the beds are uncomfortably firm Then, the TV service went out just before 1AM for approximately 20 minutes I doubt I’ll ever stay here again

The internet is terrible Never more than 5mb download speeds, less than 1 most of the time I called front desk about it, and despite advertising high speed internet, they apparently don’t offer it

Don’t plan on getting any work done on a laptop without having a mobile hotspot Kind of wild to have such slow internet at this kind of hotel these daysAlso, check your shower, mine only stayed hot for about a minute before running cold for a few minutes, and kept repeating this cycle After working in 100 degree heat all day, the cold water was pretty shocking

Great budget friendly option Easy to find, right off the highway The front desk employees were a stand out

They were extremely helpful and could not have been nicer The free breakfast 2az very good with 2 hot options and the regular danish/bagel options Would definitely stay again The only bad thing was the sofa bed had no sheets or blankets Bit everything else was great and beyond expectations

Wellspring

This is an exceptional Fairfield Inn For the past 15 years, we’ve always stayed in one of the Marriott brands as much as possible when traveling because Marriott brands typically have clean, comfortable accommodations with very welcoming staff This location certainly did not disappoint

It’s located directly off I-77 right next to Wendy’s and is also within driving distance of several other food choices on/near South Tryon During our stay, everything was very clean and well-maintained Staff was friendly, welcoming and professional across the board, especially during check-in, check-out and at breakfast Chris greeted and welcomed every customer during the times that we were at breakfast and Housekeeping was fantastic and always on point as well That was much appreciated and a really nice touch to see Made our short stay feel more like home for sure We’ve always stayed at other locations in this area when we’re in town and I’m not sure how we missed this one previously but this location will definitely be a top choice for future return visits for sure Absolutely exceptional stay Thank you all for making our visit such a comfortable and smooth one!

I was bitten by a bed bug on both arms of my first night stay My sleep pattern is my arms under my face The only good part of this ordeal is it didn’t bite me on my face

I was waken about 2:30am wondering if it was a mosquito in the room Lifted the pillow and that is when I saw it crawling around and lifted the mattress and there was a dirty towel full of bugs dead I assume I didn’t touch it Call the front desk I came to realize that I had an allergic reaction to the bites Uncomfortable weekend due to swelling and itching They did move us to another room and really couldn’t get comfortable not knowing what to expect I did lift up the mattress and moved the pillows around in the second room didn’t seem to see anything but still couldn’t get comfortable and relaxed I took pictures of the bug, towel under the mattress and my arms! They said the manager will contact me when she get there, but that call never happened We later walked down for breakfast and went to the front desk

The lobby was very nice The hallways, stairwells and elevators however looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks and weren’t vacuumed for the duration of our stay It was gross

The room AC worked great however the hallways were terribly warm The front desk staff was not friendly A smile goes a long way The beds were comfortable however the stains on the corner of the one mattress were not appealing Balcony could have been enjoyed more with two chairs and even a small table Only one chair provided Two of us showered and we were already out of body wash-that should have been filled prior to our arrival Pool area had nice chairs and water was refreshing Although the pool towels were very thin and small-the bath towels were much nicer It worked for a quick two night stay as it was close to our destination but would not return if in the area again

My husband and I stayed in one room and our cousin stayed in the room next door Upon arrival, we noticed that the sheets on me and my husband’s bed had stains on it and called to have them changed We went to our cousin’s room while this was being taken care of, and she discovered hair on the sheets on her bed

She too, requested to have her sheets changed and also discovered that her balcony had never been swept Once my husband and I returned to our room, we discovered that the balcony hadn’t been swept either, and there were no chairs for us to sit in The ottoman in front of the couch was covered in dog hair, and the shower had hair on the wall We went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager, stating that we have a complaint, and the employee answered “How can I help you”? Never confirming or denying if he was indeed the manager We told him what our issues were and he responded, telling us he would add 5,000 points on the honors club, which would apply to our cousin, who booked both rooms This is totally unacceptable, and we will never book a room at this location again Every one of our issues was an easy fix and should have been done long before our arrival Extremely disappointed and angry

Excellent modest facility that offers clean rooms, a kind staff, and very close to the highway and local businesses The room provided was fresh and clean with updated furnishings and a recent bathroom remodelI liked the on-site convenience store which is available 24×7, even as the dining experience has scaled back to a more modest post-COVID offering

I highly recommend! 🤗 The rooms were beautiful and clean The staff were absolutely wonderful!! For example, when we checked in, the lady at the desk graciously assisted us in how we could leave our vehicle there during our travels and how the process for our returning world work Also, I had not printed off a few papers which I realized last minute that I would need, they assisted me in printing those

Added to that, we left our car parked there as we attended my daughter’s Jamaican destination wedding We felt very safe and confident leaving our car as we traveled When we returned, the pick up service was quick and easy, for which we were so thankful! Our plane had been delayed 3 hours, so their professionalism meant a lot!We highly recommend this hotel if flying out of Charlotte 😃

The hotel is beautiful and the food was good , the juice could have been better The room was very clean, but the walls are super thin, you can hear everything from your neighbor even with the tv on or if you’re trying to sleep but if you have a quiet neighbor, you’ll be good to go The area around the hotel is very nice

Everything you need is in close proximity, lots of restaurants in the area

Ryan Brown

Loved the layout of the hotel Wish they had ice machines on every floor except just on the main floor They had everything you needed in the bathroom

You can just show up with clothes and toothbrush and they had you covered Wish the rooms were a touch bigger Got a little cramped with four people They made the rooms smaller for a bigger bathroom
