We took a random trip to LA for the day, and it was supposed to be for a night We loved this stay so much we stayed and extra 3 days lol But the staff was nice, breakfast was amazing and had plenty of options

Beds super comfy I HIGHLY recommend this place The only issue I had was the pool because it wasn’t very clean, but no one really uses that Overall I loved it

The room was just what we needed, spacious, and clean We enjoyed the breakfast as well All in all it was a very pleasant stay I would definitely stay here again

This place is great if you just need a place to lay your head and move on The rooms were clean and the staff was super nice and accommodating, but if you are staying here to attend an event or have any reason to get ready or put on makeup ( ladies) it’s almost impossible The lighting in the rooms is terrible! I really struggled trying to get myself put together for a wedding I was in and it made my entire experience very stressful

The layout of the rooms was odd too with the bathroom being segmented into 2 rooms

Priti Vaydande

The front desk is very insensitive and rudeI will not recommend this place at allI stayed for 2days in super 8 wid my husband and a toddler

The day of checkout my toddler was not keeping well and I called in for and extended checkout and was ready for the fee as well the front desk guy was very rude and said we cudnt stay even 5mins longer In the room, even a 5star hotel gives a extended check-out on request I dont know why did he refused inspite of telling him about my toddlers health RUBBISH attitude of the front desk guy with the long hair who was busy knitting, and didn’t care about our concern

I was served by Neil all night long I cannot recommend this place enough!Neil served 5* cocktails and gave me the lowdown of what to do in LAHe provided great company for a solo traveller like myself, whilst keeping up with the orders

I would hands down recommend this place to anyone The rooms are amazing, the pool is perfect and the service is 10/10Thank you Neil for providing such an amazing and memorable serviceI can’t wait to come back!

Barry Katz

Nice enough aesthetically, but if you’re planning on staying anywhere longer than a night or two, go elsewhere Bad bed, awkward layout of room (sink in the bedroom, no dresser, low useless chairs) and short bar hours (closed almost every night by 8pm) make this place a pass Sure if you’re trying to snap some IG pics by the pool, go for it

But don’t expect to have your minibar or snack area restocked, even if you’re there for a week and a half!

meg symanow

I had been here several times with my (white) girlfriends and was warmly welcomed into the pool area and had an amazing time with great service Came here a few days ago with my black friend and had a very different experience The second we walked in we were rapidly approached by a woman who very aggressively informed us that the pool was for guests only

She didn’t ask us if we were guests but immediately assumed that we couldn’t possibly be We left but I couldn’t shake the feeling my friend had been discriminated against so I went back in to talk it out with the manager When I politely broached the topic with her she began raising her voice at me and became erratic, even shouting at me as I had already tuned to leave Stay away from this place if you are a POC, the whole interaction felt racially biased

Just checked out from a three night stay This is a wonderful property with top notch service From my initial contact with the valet attendant to the front desk and bar staff everyone was from and happy to help

Cleaning during the pandemic is of utmost importance to the staff and we felt very safe The downside if any was the highway and construction noise but did not interfere with getting rest at night or relaxing poolside We will welcome a return in the future!

L B

Me and my Dad stayed here for three nights during our trip to Los Angeles I stayed here ten years ago, only returned here in the middle of January 2022 Some of the shops at the moment seemed to be closed due to the pandemic but there are still other places in the hotel open

I thought the lobby bar was nice, the morning café bar was lovely with options of fresh salads and fresh baked breakfast The people working there were lovely I also thought the safety of this hotel was great The lifts are still the same as I had remembered, amazing views of Downtown LA as your reaching the floor level you are staying in If you look from one of the towers you can see the Hollywood Sign The top floor restaurant was closed during our stay as the restaurant is only open Thursday – Sunday I thought the hotel was beautiful overall and I will be definitely going back 🙂

Joyfully His

We stayed at a Westin in Phoenix and was impressed with the brand This was was comparable to the Marriott Marquis in NYC It was very similar in many ways

We loved how each staff member had a commitment to detail From the valet, to room service, and everyone in between Our beds were comfortable, the showers had high pressure (our favorite!😍), and the food was pretty good This place definitely made our stay in Los Angeles more convenient and enjoyable We loved being within walking distance of so much and within 20 minutes of most everything you’d want to see/do while in LA for a couple of days I wouldn’t take a chance on another hotel in this area, honestly We saw people have to park on the streets and in public garages with other hotels, and this isn’t an area where you’d want to chance having to do that at night Walking around after sunset is not recommended, obviously This is SO much different from NYC in that regard

Our stay here was EXCELLENT! It may look weird on the outside but it’s a really cute place I would warn you that there are no elevators here so you kind of have to carry your luggage up the stairs Other than that, our stay was completely wonderful

They have amazing staff members who are dedicated to take care of you during your stay I have to give a shoutout to Diana and Ruby, they were completely amazing They made sure to help us get whatever we needed and provided excellent customer service The rooms are quite cute, clean, and comfortable It has a safe in there, mini fridge, and a hair dryer You can hear people walking in the hallway but that’s about it, it’s a fairly quiet place They have a microwave that you can use in the check in building They also have an ice machine but no water place so make sure to buy your own bottled water Cleaning services can be requested easily and the cleaning staff is great, make sure to tip them!

TreyBoyy17

This facility is immaculate I am not one to go around and give reviews too often, but this place is awesome It is in a good part of town, and as a person who travels a lot, I stay in some nice places, and this is top tier

The staff was so friendly and helpful, and everything was super modern The art was gorgeous, and the rooms all had something to offer This is going to be my go-to spot when I stay in LA moving forward I seriously cannot recommend a place more Do yourself a favor, and stay here on your next trip

Thierry Jacquemart

Very good experience overall, ratio price vs quality of service is excellent Not too far from airport nor Hollywood nor downtown Free parking

Even a (small) swimming pool (see pictures) Rooms are modern and clean Contiguous cafe is accessible from inside the hotel and has tables around the pool, offering great breakfast People at the desk are nice and helpful I’m happy I used them for my stay in LA

What a wonderful hotel experience, just what we needed after our late flight Close to the airport and easy check in! I appreciated the small things like facial tissues, a sign offering to providing any complimentary toiletries if we forgot any, and full size body wash/shampoo! Continental breakfast was scrumptious and plenty of food varieties including a pancake maker Staff were courteous and I appreciated the 12:00 noon check out time

Definitely would stay here again!

Ashley Wright

The beds were heavenly! Slept so good! The breakfast was very delicious with a lot of different options The hot tub was so relaxing! It was a great location There was a small safe in the room to use as well

The only downside is they make you pay a deposit when you check in It was also cool to see a lot of airplanes flying by out the window

1QTpie

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family Check in was easy, fast and staff was courteous The room was very fresh and clean

I was really impressed with how tidy and fresh smelling the room was The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets Each bed has a firm and soft pillow for you to use I chose this hotel because it comes with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker It also has an iron and ironing board and hair dryer Instead of leaving little bottles of shampoo and conditioner for you to use every day which is bad for the earth with all the plastic waste The shower has larger bottles of soap shampoo and conditioner that you could pump from the dispenser Breakfast buffet was fantastic There are eggs, sausages, toast, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon buns, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit like apples, oranges or bananas, juices, coffee and a fresh pancake maker There is also a gym for your use This place really has everything at an affordable price with free parking and no resort fees When selecting your hotel make sure you call the hotel and see if they charge for parking and resort fees because the low price that you see may be a lot higher with all the extra fees They also have a free shuttle to and from the hotel from LAX airport I highly recommend this Holiday Inn

Very nice facility with above average rooms Huge shower Be aware that there is not a microwave in the room, which limited what I could bring back from restaurants

Very comfortable beds, and comfy pillows (once I figured out how to form them for the right support) Underground parking noted, though I didn’t have a car Good climate control in room Very satisfying stay

Steve Valenti

This is a very comfortable and clean and classy Hotel, it’s just in an area of town that is not so classy or clean! They have a great big parking lot underground and security guards and as soon as you come in the front door you smell the beautiful perfumed air that is very elegant The rooms look like beautiful new hotel rooms I highly recommend it and I don’t think you can beat the value for money

Zach Meier

Hotel itself was great The staff was very friendly, parking was the easiest thing, and the room itself was easily the nicest smelling hotel room I’ve ever been in It is also in a great location

10 minutes from downtown, and walking distance to some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had Will definitely stay there again when in the LA area

My family and I stayed here 7/16-7/17 To their credit, we arrived early and they were able to put us in one of our two rooms for an added fee That is pretty much where the positive experience ended

The room is more expensive— by close to 100 dollars per room, than the other hotels nearby, and they require an incidental expenses hold of $300 per room For that we hoped to have a pleasant experience We are a family of 6, and booked the property in part because of on site restaurants and a pool for the kids The pool is laughably small — clearly only there to check the box for hotel amenities The air conditioning cannot keep up with the demand for rooms— both of our rooms were uncomfortably hot (76-77 degrees Fahrenheit) and decreasing the temperature on the thermostat had no effectThe hotel’s only actual restaurant closes between 10 and 5 and there is also no room service during those hours We ended up walking over to another nearby hotel that actually had an open restaurant to have lunch That evening, we did both order room service for the kids and also went to the restaurant for dinner The food is mediocre at best with expected high prices (hamburger and French fries for $25), and the $16 per drink cocktails were frankly just not well made Neither refrigerator worked in our rooms The bathrooms and rooms appear nice, but the shower head was awful, spitting out water in all directions There were issues checking into our second room, and once we were given keys we arrived to find the room had not been cleaned and we needed to continue to waitAfter dinner, we needed to get to bed for an early flight At 11:47pm the room doorbell rang and there was a family outside of our room My husband thought they had the wrong room number 5 minutes later another knock at the door was the desk agent, stating that she didn’t know why we were in this room and asking to see our IDs We explained that they placed us in this room and gave us room keys, and my husband showed his ID We left the next morning at 5The shuttle and shuttle driver were helpful, which was nice However the overall experience was not good and for a total of $400 per room I would have expected a higher degree of competence and a restaurant to actually be open and serve reasonably good food and drinksWe were meant to stay here for another night on the way back and canceled our subsequent reservation Hilton should be able to perform better than this

Janette Cilliers (JC)

Room was nice, but there several small things I would have expected to be in the room of this caliber No ice bucket, not enough charging outlets or towels Also we found strands of hair all over the bathroom 🤮 Lastly, the pool had much to be desired

My bathroom is bigger than their pool And to top it off there were no lounge chairs or umbrellas in the tables It just looked unkempt and dirty Not impressed! I would have thought Hilton was better than this However the location was perfect if you needed to get to the airport quick, you could make it their in 5 minutes with their free shuttle

Shelby Allison

Our flight got cancelled so our family decided to stay here for the night since it was so close to the airport for our flight the next morning Having the shuttle service to and from the hotel was very convenient especially since we had two toddlers with us The rooms were very clean and updated and there were lots of food options nearby as well as a Coffee Bean in the hotel

Overall very nice and convenient

Just completed my first stay at the Brentwood Inn, and it won’t be my last You’re getting a clean, well-appointed room in a remodeled mid-century motor lodge Just know before booking that you are staying at moderately busy intersection in a motel that has doors opening to the outside

That being said, I have stayed at more modern chain hotels near interstates with significantly more noise, and less comfort than I experienced at the Brentwood Inn It’s a perfect base for LA, if you don’t need on-site dining It is a close drive to many excellent restaurants I will absolutely book at The Brentwood Inn on my next trip to LA

Lily Dai

Great value for what you’re getting in the area, especially once you factor in the free parking (which nearby hotels charge for)The best part was the excellent service I received, which other reviewers echoed as well Brendan the manager was accommodating and very compassionate when I told him I was staying at the Inn while my mom had surgery at UCLA

Highly recommend if you are making your way through Brentwood

Kate Edgett

A perfect hidden gem in Brentwood Close to everything yet tucked away in a lovely quiet neighborhood The staff was exceptional, very accommodating to our needs, attentive to detail

The room was perfect for our stay, bed was very comfortable, room was very clean We would gladly stay at the Brentwood Inn for future visits to California

My stay was great I haven’t been to the Sheraton Gateway since 2008 and I love all the upgrades they did I was in town to give my father a proper burial, he passed away a few weeks ago

The bed was very comfy, no complaints at all Hot water was available no matter what time I showered I requested housekeeping service daily and they came, cleaned my room and delivered fresh towels daily This hotel is very convenient to the airport whether you drive or not, shuttle to and from the airport, valet parking or self parking available as well I will be coming back to LA next year and will be staying here again:)

শরিফ রাজ

Overall, this was a comfortable place to stay I would avoid taking the shuttle provided as you are packed like sardines on a small bus There is a sign that says no standing as you enter the bus but the driver crammed as many people and luggage in as he could so some people stood the entire ride to the hotel (see picture)

This was a last minute stay due to a flight cancellation so that could be the reason Once I got off the shuttle, the woman at the front desk was very accommodating I had an issue with the room key not working but she was able to quickly resolve The room was spacious and it had a coffee maker which was great! There was also complimentary water provided There was an issue with the shower head that was not able to be fixed so I ended up just taking a bath instead Besides the shuttle, everything else was pretty good and the staff was accommodating

MiMi Nicole

My husband stayed here for two nights and truly enjoyed our accommodations The facility looked newly renovated, the rooms were extremely spacious, and even though we were very close to the airport, the room was very well insulated from sound There wasn’t much to walk to around the area, especially at night, but it was very central to a high-traffic area of hotels, and delivery services were always very speedy

Also, I left some very important items in the safe in the room, so I wanted to take a moment to thank Ashlyn O from housekeeping for being honest and turning them in It is nice to know that there are honest people still out there

Stayed there end of February into March for 5 days We definitely underestimated this place Perfect location for us

Our drives were on average ONLY 20-30 minutes from everywhere we wanted almost To all the popular places Staff were extremely nice, helpful, and no complaints Ability to have our room cleaned everyday Valet parking was quick and worth the money Even late at night when everything was closed a staff member opened the snacks for us Only complaint was that our balcony door was broken and didn’t close all the way and we were fading the 405 so it got loud but we managed to fix it a little Told the staff and they are aware Definitely staying next time we visit LA

Jack R

We stayed here for one night at the end of May 2022 The hotel has a nice contemporary feel and the pool and fitness area are lovely I wish we had known about the freeway that runs next to the hotel before we booked because it’s really noisy

There was no soundproofing against the road noise We asked to change rooms and were told they were fully booked so they gave us earplugs! Also interested to read about the complimentary valet service on here because we were charged $34 and it was obligatory

Surge Vargas

The stay was not too great I had requested a room with a glass door for the shower I was given a room with a current

When I called to request a changed of room they did not have any rooms of the same type with glass doors even though I was reassured there was before checking into the hotel The current was kind of dirty, so I did not take a shower The room was kind of dirty The bed was really comfortable though, so that’s a positive I probably would have left, but I had an event I had to go to When I was checking out I was getting charged for their “complimentary” ride I was charged twice for a ride to the gas station When I brought it up I was told that it was more than 3 miles The gas station is across the bridge The charges were taken off, but I had to wait for 2 people to review the charges who initially brushed them off I would not stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay here There are cheaper alternatives that do not embellish, falsely advertise “complimentary” items, and at least compensate for the inconvenience The 1 star is only for the bed and because I could not give a 0 star review
